TESZERACT It's not in the documentation, but single key presses seem to do something. R(random?), U, D(delete), L, Z(zoom), C(centre window), esc(hides), [, ], -=numeric keys for zooms (without cmd). Any idea what these unknown ones do? (Version 2.6)

ULYSSESRIC As far as I'm concerned, you may just create single build that contains both 32 and 64 bits. Please check this article: http://cocoawithlove.com/2009/09/building-for-earlier-os-versions-in.html Please keep on this excellent app. It's simply the best! (Version 2.6)

I have used JView for many many years now. IMHO it's simply the best viewer. I don't know how you do it but somehow pictures scaled up or down just look far better on screen than any other viewer I've ever tried. However, as of now I'm still at version 1.9.5. I downloaded 2.6 but it seems it doesn't work with Tiger. What is the latest version that works with Tiger, and where could I get it?

ALLANLIU I can email you the Tiger version of 2.6. Please let me know where to send it to you by emailing me at shopton@gmail.com. (Version 2.6)

KAROLIS The best image viewer for OS X and we can't download it. Great. Just put it on any sharing site until proper host will be found. (Version 2.6)

THIRROUARD The developper website is down... and as NONE of the websites that refer to JView actually host the HUGE 700ko file, it's now impossible to find.

MIKE666 Me like old icons better. Simple. Distinctive. Like the application itself. Otherwise, this is still the best image viewer for my money :D. (Version 2.1.1)

BERTOBOX I truly like this program, i've recommended it to all my friends with Macs. However, since installing Tiger, I notice that when i import my photos with Image Capture, and rotate them before (using Image Capture) or after importing (using Preview), JView doesn't reflect the 'virtual' rotation. :-( As it happens that many times i'll have quite a few pictures rotated, this becomes a nuisance to use. Is there a way a setting could be added in the preferences, to where we choose whether or not we want JView to 'recognize' these type of virtual rotations? I say 'virtual' because in effect, JView is actually rendering the picture correctly, i believe that Preview only makes a 'note' that it should display a certain image rotated, and thus not actually rotating it physically
Well, thanks again for a wonderful free application, i've been using it since Jaguar (Version 2.0a)

ALLANLIU Ha, I never heard of the "virtual rotation" thing, and didn't even know its existence. Thanks. (Version 2.0a)

BERTOBOX yeah, in fact, photoshop CS is recognizing this type of annotation as well
it shows them rotated even though physically they are still in their horizontal position. I don't exactly know why, but my guess is that they do it in order to preserve the all the metadata information intact, as well as the creation date
i'd really really really really like to see it in JView!!!! :) cheers! (Version 2.0a)

ALLANLIU I haven't touched JView for a long long time. Wait until I get my MacBook, to see if I can reproduce this feature, and also fix some bugs. (Version 2.0a)

ANONYMOUS The best free image viewer I have come across. It is easy to use and stable on all versions of OSX (replaced preview as my default viewer a long time ago). The only flaws are that it needs more options on the 'zoom' pulldown menu (125%, 150%, 250%, 300%), and is sometimes a little slow browsing through large image files. (Version 2.0a)

ANONYMOUS I wasn't that impressed. Whenever I tried to navigate to the next image there would be a long pause. Just so you know its not because of my hardware Dual G5. I personally prefer CocoViewX. its free as well (Version 2.0a)

ANONYMOUS Excellent viewer program, fills the Irfanview void, the only PC program that I missed in the Macintosh world. Once you open an image in JView, you can just keep hitting a key of your choice to see every other image in that folder and in the subfolders, to the depth you specify. This is what an image viewer SHOULD do, without the annoyances of having to set up a slideshow or wait for thumbnails. With this for viewing, and an advanced program like photoshop for editing, you're all set. (Version 2.0a)

ROLLINGFLO If you want to watch pictures in the most convenient way and don't expect many extras, this program is for you. Preview sadly fails in this regard. Jview is my default viewer since switching to OS X and still the best for my purposes. Also, it never crashes. And it's free. Thanks a lot to the developer Allan Liu. (Version 1.9.6)

BERTOBOX Very Cool!!! It does what it says, it doesn't crash, very simple to use. I missed Quicktime's PictureViewer in OS X and this is definitely the better upgrade
Congratulations on an excellent job!! The slideshow feature is excellent too
gives great control of what one needs. It should be mentioned that it reads PSD files just fine too. (Version 1.9.2)
