ANONYMOUS  I have been using Deck since 1996 on a variety of computers. Recently I got a new computer and "upgraded" Deck. Previously I was running Deck 3.0 on a B&W G3/OS 9 with no problems whatsoever - totally bombproof. Then I started running Deck 3.5 on a top-o-the-line G5 with OS X and a Delta 66. After the gazillionth fatal crash and after losing important sessions, I give up. I'm running 3.0 back on the G3 until I get DP 4. I have never seen a program so prone to crashing EVER. Totally unusable. Quite disappointing, especially considering how much upgrading Deck has cost me over the years.

ANONYMOUS  DECK is a fantastic program! I use it on a beige G3 running OS9.1. It's rock-solid and easy to use. It works flawlessly with M-Audio cards(I have use the 2496 and the 410 both with no problem; ASIO set up was a breeze).

I also use it in conjunction with METRO and a MIDIMAN USB UNO MIDI interface to controll my drum machine(I like to record my drums on 4 different tracks but I only have 2 analog INs; I do it in two passes). Again, Great program . I have been using it since version 2.5 and I have always had success.

ED WONS  I have been using this program for several years and keep hoping that with each update it will become stable and not crash all the time.

I have had to develop so many work arounds just to get project finished.

When I updated to 3.5.2 I lost the ability to output 5.1 files for a DVD project.

I don't think they do much testing of the software and I need to move on to a program that actually works.

If you are thinking about buying this don't spend the extra $200 and get something like Cubase
