MONTY LEE  By far the most comprehensive and complete stock analysis package for the Macintosh. Investor/RT lets you track prices (via several sources, both online and terminal) and then perform complex analysis (Bollinger Bands, moving averages, candlestick, and dozens more). I/RT comes with its own language for you to write scans, back-testing analysis, and more. For anyone that needs more than the simple tools provided online, I/RT will meet any need

It runs great in OS X. My only critique is that the program has grown so powerful that the documentation lags several generations behind the program, and figuring out all the power takes a lot of time. The program also does not follow some Macintosh standards, and so common keyboard actions don't work like expected. Because of the developer's tools, it is not as Mac friendly as you'd expect. But it is stable (doesn't crash), very fast (takes advantage of dual processor Macs), and easy to initially set-up and run.

I recommend this program to any serious investor wishing to study price and volume of any commodity (stocks, bonds, options, etc.). There is no program as complete, and certainly none as powerful as Investor/RT.

DALE  Does this software have an investment growth chart comprable to that in the Micrsoft Money Deluxe toolbox that I was able to download on my PC but which does not work with the Mac,

which is an interactive chart that allows you to key in many stock market index symbols, stock symbols and mutual fund symbols and customize it from any date to any date, month date and year to month date and year, and have it show a historical performance graph comparing percentage growth, a visual showing of volatility, of these various indices and funds, comparing them visually against each other AND doing it with reinvested dividends to give you total return, not just price history? That's all I'm looking for. does this software have it? do you know of others that do? i was able to downbload it for free onn my PC from the MSN Money central website but now with my new apple Imac, the only thing I can get there is the BASIC investment toolbox, not the Deluxe one and the basic doesn't do reinvested dividends and only customizes dates by month/year. Thank you.
