BEZIERBOY  I have zero problems on a 10.5.8 Intel MacBookPro running via a Cablevision cable modem connected to a D-Link wireless router. I am in the NY City area, obviously in the USA.

Perhaps people having trouble should list their hardware/software configuration here, or via a comment on the developer's website at http://flavio.tordini.org/minitube

This is quite nice when it works, but it would be good to know if it works on Tiger, Snow Leopard, PPC, etc.

AVIDMCUSER  In addition to my previous post:

'Error Parsing Video Page'

My configuration is Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on an Intel iMac C2D 2.8Ghz 4Gb RAM.

JVRLBRTR  This is simply an awesome tool.

The flash player plugin eats up 80% of cpu in my macbook pro.

This tool only uses 20-25% of cpu.

Really genius.

PAT320  I like this application and use it a lot,

I would suggest some features:

browse author's videos

deleting bad keywords or history

Access informations at any time

Scroll in the video?

shortcut to put the next video to watch, or something to create a playlistÂ…

The only con is the quicktime cache folder.

Use Minitube 1 hour and you get a >700MB large QT cache folder ;(

thanks for this freeware.

DARUKARU  Not bad at all. Plays videos with much lower CPU usage than Flash in a browser. What it could really use is the ability to access subscriptions and to browse a user's videos and playlists. As it stands, multi-part videos are difficult to access because searching won't necessarily bring all the parts up in order.

TGV  The application doesn't get very far on my MacBook. As soon as I have typed a few characters, it hangs indefinitely (in QThreadStorageData > QHostInfo > QWaitCondition, says Activity Monitory).
