VALDIMAR THOR H  This is malware and nothing else!! What a rubish. Just an abuse. What to expect when "freeware" is around?!

SAMUCO  We have removed the annoying registration thing in version 8.0.

It annoyed very many people (Including some of our staff ;p)

iTube is now free, and will remain free. Most of the advertisements have been removed also.

VIRTUALTAOIST  AVOID THIS APPLICATION:

I am sad to say that this application has to be considered malware as far as I am concerned, I never even got to use the application because it would not activate without me "Registering" for some Sims3 fansite in order to help the author of this program gain some kind of status, this is a clear attempt by the author to utilise other people information for his own personal gain, regardless or not if it himself or a 3rd party that the information is being submitted to, the application also would not close down when I tried submitting a false email address and name, and I had to use the activity monitor to forcefully close the application.

Once again, avoid this application like the plague, I registered just so I could voice this criticism of this software authors shady practices.

HYPERT  I forgot to check the requirements (10.5 only), so it crashed when I ran it under 10.4. :-(

Why is it so hard to support 10.4 in apps?

DNELSON  Well, likely you're not missing anything (read up). But as for the cause, Leopard added many new things like drag-and-drop IB toolbars and HUD panels that Tiger doesn't support. A few apps have special Tiger versions to deal with those issues but sometimes it's just because the developer is lazy and didn't try to support Tiger. Once Snow Leopard comes out you Tiger users and us PPC users will have more and more trouble finding compatible software.

SAMUCO  Tiger is outdate. It has been now for over four years. You cannot honestly expect software to be created for very old operating systems. Apple doesn't even support Tiger anymore, as it is over two operating systems old... Time to upgrade ;D
