MACLOVER1.1 Great !!! It would be PERFECT if it could also act as a multiclipboard with basic textedit features. HUD transparency theme would be cool. Apart from that the show hotkey does not toggle to hide the window :-(And I would really like the option to float the window on top of other when needed... (Version 1.5)

ICONZ113 This app is awesome. I like it a lot. Perfectly stable, easy to maintain your screen shots in the library thats built in, lots of options for placing emphasis on parts of a photo using shapes, arrows and text. Also when you purchase the app you have access to the free online image hosting it provides which is also fast and easy. After taking a photo it appears in the library then you have the choice to upload it to flickr, web-snapper, or another FTP, after your upload your provided with the link that is automatically placed on your clipboard for pasting. HMURCHISON You know what is also free? The demo. If you want to know what the big deal is or give the app a whirl you can simply download it and try it for the demo period. (Version 1.0.4)

FOOFOORABBIT The beauty of this apps comes from the organization it provides as well as the annotation, crop, highlight and blur tools. If you don't require these features, then this app is probably not for you. It's akin to saying that you don't understand what the big deal is about Numbers and Excel considering you can do everything you want to do with Calculator.app and...it's free. (Version 1.5)

AV Does Grab take a complete screenshot of the web page? .... dont think so... and what the other repliers said. (Version 1.5.1)

ESPIRIDION IMO this application is overpriced. I got my license from the Macheist bundle, otherwise I would not have purchased it. I use Snapz Pro X. LittleSnapper seems to include some useful features, such as taking screenshots of an entire webpage. Unfortunately this did not work for me using iCab or Firefox. It did work using Safari, but I don't use Safari. I may use it eventually if I want to quickly add some shapes, arrows, etc., to a picture. Text annotations are useful, but customization is important. I could not resize the text boxes, or separate text within a box using "Return" or "Enter" Not bad for a version 1 application, but far from being worthy of 5 stars, especially considering its price. Hopefully it will become a more polished application. (Version 1.0.3)

AV So far so very good. Its not perfect but ive given it 5 Stars because it has helped me alot already and has massive potential. There is of room for improvement on every level - functionality, presentation & stability. I am hoping this will come..... then it will be a killer app truly worthy of 5 stars. I hope the next release finetunes the annotation functions (text wrap, font etc) and a tagging system similar to how to delicious does tagging ... anyway, ive listed suggestions on the application forum so i wont repeat them all here. Please continue to develop this application to its full potential! (and justify the 5 Stars!!) (Version 1.0.2)

JOEL MUELLER I'd really like to see the webpage snapshot function be able to take a snapshot of the entire webpage -- just not the part of the webpage that is visible on the user's screen. This would make a handy feature for website designers as well as people trying to share information with small screens (laptops). (Version 1.0.2)

ABILSTEIN Unless I'm confused about what you're asking for, it already does this. Use the Little Snapper Browser, load a long page, and take a Webshot. It will capture the full scrollable area of the web page. Very handy feature. (Version 1.0.2)

NEOX I understand it does for *some* web pages, but not all. Sometimes web elements get in the way and then it is not a clean capture. If you bought it as part of Machiest, try taking a snapshot of your web receipt and you will know exactly what I am talking about... Other then a few issues like this, it is a neat screenshot app, especially if you like to organize your snaps. I do agree that it is a bit overpriced though. More like $20 - $25, IMHO... But I guess that is the way it is with RMS. After all RapidWeaver used to be $39 and now is $79... I guess the bad economy has forced some companies to raise prices, while others are lowering them. LEO SPILL Just from playing with it for a few moments and ... A) There is no way to see what the dimensions ( How many pixels, inches, CMs etc... ) of any grab are ? B) Once you have 'by error' clicked on the favorite star choice in the inspector you can't make it go back to zero stars. C) No batch rename feature ( Really this should be on the top of the list of things to include - day one ) D) Snap area etc... from the menu bar sends the grab to the desktop and not straight to LS. ( Means you have to drag grabs into the application. Defeats the whole object of the app in the first place. ) E) Needs to be 'smart' when grabbing areas within the Finder. At the moment there is no difference or LS doesn't help in grabbing portions of the screen - From normal screen grabbing mode. D) No slideshow feature - or automatic advance within edit or icon mode. F) Would like more export options - lossless formats etc... Could go on and on... I know this is just a single point release but so little thought seems to have gone into this version. Which is such a pity - especially when released at this price point. (Version 1.0.1)

LEO SPILL While I am sure to a lot of people $39 is nothing to stop and think twice over. As an impulse buy - for me it is a lot. For something useful to have around but not for everyday use. If it was set at a Mupromo price promo maybe - But at full price - no way. (Version 1.0.1)

WITHTLC Program is a very good start for a version 1.0 screen/web capture, but its early state of development doesn't warrant the price being charged IMHO. I grant you I have not played with it for hours but I found that when it crashed, it lost my organized library. There does not appear to be anyway to tell it to write out what it apparently is storing in RAM without exiting the application which is a painful way to do a Save. In addition, Little Snapper requires you restart it to select a different library. I am very impressed by the user interface.. and the way that the program allow you to capture a DOM element, but you can accomplish most everything Little Snapper does by simply printing out your web page to a printer driver that saves the output as PDF. There are an incredible number of these programs: YEP, SOHO, DevonThink, Notebook, Snapz, etc. - better yet, most of these programs can search for text keywords in the PDF.. Little snapper requires you to supply the tags and keywords upon which to search requiring you to do a lot more legwork. I expect the next release will support searching the HTML source it stores for text - but presently "search" only looks at the inspector data attributes. (Version 1.0.1)

TYCHAY I purchased it with a $5 discount from RealMac Software. Even then the price is pretty steep. I wish when saving a DOM snap, itÂ’d save some form of web archive (text data) with it. Only the full web snap saves a webarchive internally which means features like PDF export or view source aren't available which makes the snap not web searchable. Interesting program. The UI is nice, but integration with other organization software doesn't look promising at the moment. (Version 1.0.1)

GEOPICK Snapz Pro has been my stable screen capture utility for years. It's pretty solid, but no new features have been added for quite a while and I wonder if the developers see it as a priority. LittleSnapper has a lot of potential. The main feature that attracts me is the ability to capture entire web pages, even those not fully exposed in the window. But LittleSnapper seems to have difficulty dealing with tabs in FireFox. It's OK with untabbed windows. There are, as others note, some interface quirks or omissions. Some error displays lack any text. The icon display does not let you delete images with the "delete" key or standard cut. Also, a list view could be helpful. The overall impression is that this app is still in late beta. It is expensive by about US$10 or more. I won't buy a license now but will carefully watch to see how the developers respond. EFF Like some of the other commenters, I too participated in the beta test for this promising app. As a designer I love the idea of a central repository for my screenshots. The ability to share them online is sort of cute, but doesn't really integrate with my workflow since I usually work for clients who don't want their designs available "freely" during the development process (I use a password protected site, aka "extranet", for that sort of thing). There are a few UI quirks left, i.e. I'd prefer to be able to view my screenshots in list format in addition to the other view options (by icon, single image), so I can get a quick, sortable (by name, date, etc.) overview of the stuff in my library. All that being said, and for me personally, LittleSnapper is not worth the asking price of $39 - compared to taking and sorting screenshots manually, its current feature set isn't compelling enough. At $20-$25 it would be a no-brainer, but not for $40. (Version 1.0)

JM_BILL I helped the guys Beta test this application. It is very good in that it's relativity straightforward to use and much effort has been put into the interface and web integration with quicksnapper. However, the price does seem very steep, especially considering 15% VAT is added onto the final total. You only get free updates to version 2.0. I'm going to have to wait and see on this one for now. In the meantime, don't be surprised to see it discounted. RapidWeaver often gets discounted or offered as part of bundles. (Version 1.0)

MACMARIA I'm testing LittleSnapper and must agree with the previous comments. It looks and feels sleek, stable and quite good on organizing screenshots (better than Skitch, IMO), but 39$ is way too much, specially for an app that just came out. I would for sure buy it at 25$, but at the current price I really must think if the organization LS provides is worth the big money. (Skitch is working fine, but when you have lots of images it is a drag to search them). PS. Then again I also thought RapidWeaver (also by the same company) was quite expensive and decided on Sandvox Pro -- same price, more features -- and I'm quite pleased with it. (Version 1.0)

DAN.TINIANOW I was involved in the testing of this program. It's a great program, really, but I wouldn't buy it at this price. $20 or at most $25 seems right, but I will keep an eye out for a bundle, mupromo, maczot or other discount, or a repricing, which I suspect might be coming in short order if there are more comments along these lines. Maybe I am wrong, though, and it will take off at this price. (Version 1.0)
