CYANN  When GIMP will be able to work without X11???

When this day will arrive, I'd be the first to get it.

ALFREDO_TOMATO  Since Leopard broke PS7, GIMP has been my graphics program of choice. I haven't missed PS that much. Until recently, the lack of a Fade feature kept me from really liking GIMP, but now I can fade to my hearts' content. I like it and appreciate the Wilber community.

PLASTERPYRUS  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for your valued continued support of wilber~loves~apple Gimp and specially for keeping it current for 2.4.6 for Tiger. It's great when developers acknowledging that there are plenty of us out there that are using Tiger on our beloved Power PC G4 and G5's with no plans of upgrading to Leopard, at least for the moment.

BIGDAVE56  Not sure why this is only popping up now, this release has been out for a month. But anyway, this is the first GIMP release that has worked on my G4/1.2 iBook since Leopard came out. I used to use Gimpshop (broken under Leopard) but haven't heard even a burp about a Leopard update to that. I am also using the latest XQuartz update to X11, not the horribly broken version from the 10.5 disk. Thanks to the developers and testers from both communities for making X11 and dependent apps usable again.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  It's "popping up" now because it was just submitted to MacUpdate.
