MAC007  Well it seems Skitch is having it's problems upon upgrading like a lot of my programs are lately. I don't know what Apple did but they have really messed things up for some developers lately. All I can do is send in bug reports to both companies and hope they get it fixed. I feel like I'm using a Windows computer!

JEFFISHERETOO  Not that this helps but no issues here and running latest SL. If you haven't already try repairing permissions to ensure some directory used to store or extract the updates isn't set improperly.

PABLITO  Yep, it's a issue with Safari permissions after it's update this week. I had the same problem trying to opening applications, but after a restart, everything comes better. Only now I discovered the problems with Safari. I think everything is on the track again ...

MAC007  I've tried repairing permissions several times and restarting several times plus I even opened a test user account and switched to that and got the same results. Unless someone comes up with a fix I'll just have to live without this application.

DAVID COFFIN  Resisted this for a while because I already had a similar app that seemed fine (and that I'd paid for), and at first glance, Skitch seemed overly complex and confusing. Finally took a breath and a slower, closer look and fell in LOVE. In fact, I have 4 other screen-shooting apps I've paid for over the years, but Skitch is the one I use daily and recommend to friends. This is really an exceptional, never-crashed-once creation already filled with great features and lots of polished nooks and crannies. Beta? I'm totally looking forward to paying to own this. Thank you, plasq!

RAE  Good work!

Really an interesting app, good enough for some fun... Very easy to use and like the idea of an introduction clip... Also like the functions of this app to edit the images, resize and the "drag me" that allows me to drag the edited image to any where.

For those who shares images online or blogging, the app certainly attracts more.

For the purpose of complete screen shots and advance usage, Snapz Pro prevails...

JIMULEDA  Plasq + Skitch = Love.

i've been aboard the Plasq-train for several years, or so it seems, starting with ComicLife and an early adoption of Skitch. there is not a single day of my digital-experience that does not include one or both of these useful products. from email, to student i.d. badge creation, to Wordle.com captures, to passing silly notes to my co-workers...'nuff said.

ROSENKRIEGER  This is another of my "must-have-apps". I have been enjoying Skitch for quite some time now and I must say I have integrated it into many of my workflows because its simply, powerful and does what it says!

Love it and would not want to use a Mac without it.

ROY VAN DER WONING  So you will actually sell/closet/torch your Mac if the developer decides to discontinue this product and the beta expires?

Gotta love those superlatives in reviews. :-)

LEV  This is a VERY annoying app to review because I can't think of anything to complain about. It does what it says it does, elegantly and quickly. It's also in an odd way quite witty -- you'll see what I mean if you try it. It's already changed my workflow for web posting of images, which is a fair indication of just how good it is.

Superb.

MRELCEE  It's funny (to me) I've been using Skitch beta since fairly early on when beta invites were pretty difficult to get. Very rarely do I get an app like this where I am actually looking forward to the developer going to a release version so I can pay them money for it..

This one I am - within minutes of getting the notification that they're selling it, my credit card is coming out. I use this app countless times per day to do quick snaps of designs to post to people I work with or customers for input or snap quick shots of web articles/photos to send to someone via IM.. it is one of those apps that I just won't do without now..

CHIEFTED  I got to see this program in action at Macworld 2007 and darn neared drooled over it.

This is the beginning and the end if you have to take screen shots and then upload them.

It also can make simple quick edits that can be uploaded not only to its own site (Skitch) but also Flickr and .mac.

No this isn't photo shop, if you need to get something up quick and dirty this program does the job and does it extremely well.
