BOBBYKNOX  feels nice to go back to the roots... old school VI plugin for a nice GUI.

HAL0THANE  I would be very happy to see this plugin if I hadn't got so used to using TextMate's own keyboard shortcuts and commands. Without detracting from ViMate (I haven't tried it), had it been available when I started using TextMate, I would have loved it but now I'm much less tempted to even give it a go.

NECRISREX1  This plugin has gone a LONG WAY toward making the basic vi command set work in TextMate. I really applaud the dev.

I would make two requests though, when not in insert mode, could / be used to do a find? and could search/replace via %s/FIND/REPLACE as in VI be implemented?

Those two features would fill the gap nicely on a feature set I hadn't realized I was missing in TextMate.

I LOVE Textmate, but my VI habits do bite me on occasion.

Thanks for this plugin, here's hoping we get a little more before we call it "Done."

I didn't rate it on stability, as I have only been using it for about 10 minutes now, and while I haven't had any problems, I can't say I won't have any.
