SUNDAYS  If you want to resize your images without having any other option to set than get BatchResizeem.

The program is very simple developed and have not the ability to set other oprions.

If you want to set other options get the shareware Imafewell or easybatchresize.

ROBIO  I've been looking for an app just like this one, that retains EXIF and TIFF properties in the smaller documents after resizing in bulk. BatchResize'em is one of the few that does. Just a few requests for the next version:

1) The ability to set your own default source and target folders

2) The ability to set your own default size or percentage

3) The ability to turn OFF the app making a thumbnail for each resized photo (I'm resizing to reduce the file sizes, I don't need an extra 50k added for an icon)

4) Have the progress info in its own window instead of having it take over part of the Menu bar

5) Or at least make all these requests options in Preferences - which this app definitely needs.

With these additions, BatchResize'em would easily be a 5-star app to me.

Also, there does seem to be a bit of a bug relating to having the same folder as both source and target — when I try this the app closes (bombs?) without doing any resizing.

TAYLORD  Ugly icon? No way! I think it's a beautiful icon, but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the author can't please everyone.

As for the little application itself, I have already found it very useful.

FREDDUCKER  It wouldn't be too bad if the application remembered the previous settings set by the user... The "640 pixels" default isn't gonna satisfy everyone.

FREDDUCKER  Does the job! But eh... no drag and drop? Eh? Also, it doesn't say what the level of quality of the resized JPEG file is.

Ugly application icon, let me know if I can make you one.
