ANDREAS J. MUHR  By default, Apple Address Book exports multiple contacts to a single file (if you drag and drop the contacts). However, by holding the option key while dragging and dropping, individual VCF files for the contacts will be created.

MACDAVID  Great tip ! Thank you. But I wonder, why is it not simply in the preferences of the programm ? that would be too easy.

MAC MAIL  It doesn't work!

Clicked on the exported card, the address book opens on the different person's info. Tried on the different card and the same thing again. I don't need this to open the address book. I really don't know what so good with this.

Maybe the developer should fix it.

MARKF21  Does exactly as expected. First you create a folder that you wish to place the vCards into and then click on the export button. Voila the cards are where they're supposed to be (in the created folder).

MAC MAIL  Did you try to click on those files? What happens when you click them? Find out.

MARKF21  You're right nothing happens. Tried to drag & drop into Entourage & AddressBook. AddressBook claims no importabl cards found. Entourage just does nothing.
