EAN  Works great. The only problem I had was with the documentation stating that the background color should be #BFBFBF. After some trial and error, I ended up with #CACACA. That may spell CACA, but it works for me.

PEEJAVERY  The background color is #BEBEBE, not #BFBFBF. Even though it would be close to impossible to distinguish with the human eye, it is good to know.

PEEJAVERY  To clarify my last comment...

I mean when you click the "Default Image" button, that image has #BEBEBE as its background color.

EAN  Thank you, I was wondering why my boot image backgrounds were darker that the surrounding screen.

ZYDECO  The background colour is #BFBFBF, if you use Photoshop to create the pictures, you must make sure to switch colour management off for that document.

PETER DA SILVA  How about an option to composite transparent images against a #BFBFBF background before installing them?
