GARY JAMES  Copying a URL to grab something is not very user friendly. It just doesn't cut it to today standards.

The UI is old and clouded with to many options.

Paying for this not recommend.

ROBERTCOOGAN  Ok. There are MANY options out there that offer the same functionality for free. That's right...for FREE. Why the dev wants people to pay I don't know. I'm not a GUI freak, I just want it to work - i.e., to allow me to save YouTube vids to my Mac. This does not offer anything new or substantial that would compel me to spend cash for it. There are plenty of free alternatives out there.

ALEXANDER  I really hate people dissing on software you have to pay for.

If you can use a free tool then just do and ignore shareware tools. Period!

But don't flame on programmers who do ask a little bit of money for all the hard coding they done.

It is not encouraging and is only intended to insult people/programmers. I cannot find any other reason why you do this.

Leave it and grow up and show some maturity please.

And if you can do it better. Please do.

ROBERTCOOGAN  Then the question begs itself: Why spend all of that time coding on an application when there are free versions that do the exact same thing? I am not "dissing" on anybody...for if the dev wrote this an wanted to charge money for it, it would naturally offer something substantial in the way of features to justify the expense. Consumers are not stupid, nor are they fools - this offers NOTHING NEW to justify the cost.

JEFFISHERETOO  Sorry, but there is NOTHING wrong with letting people know there are better and FREE options out there. I think anyone that would take the time to write something that's already been done, many times, and offered for free, then try to charge for it, needs to do better market and competitive research and is in no way entitled to anyones money through ignorance.
