KELLY SMITH   Hi everyone! I'm a newbie in Mac world and I have a windows mobile device from my "windows past":)

This software works great on my MacBook Pro and HTC Touch! What I like in Syncmate is that it combines the possibility of syncing numerous items and is available in free version.

The feature I like most is the possibility of managing sms right on my MacBook. iTunes and iPhoto synchronization are also very convenient. And of course mail synchronization - this one feature is great! I've upgraded to expert version and it worth every paid cent.

CMLEWAN  I use it with HTC Touch HD. It works, but syncing adresses can take up to 10 minutes while syncing the same amount of addresses (on or two) while using iSync takes 10 seconds. I may try Missing Sync instead.

****.

MADAN80  I downloaded the SyncMate and installed it. It worked till the installation point and then it stopped. Whenever I connected my iMate Jamin, it would recognize the phone and the application would start - but then it would not connect.

The reason - the Mac Firewall. I am running the Mac OS X 10.4.1

so now, everytime i need to sync my phone with my mac, i need to disable the firewall and then it works like a song.

love the app - i can sync not just the contacts but also my calendar which shows up on the phone. The calendar also picks up the birthdays from the addressbook and puts them onto the calendar.

might upgrade in a bit.

COOKNICE  HI I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.2 Leopard, and I have a T-Mobile Wing Windows Mobile 6. I've downloaded your program but nothing is happening. I went through my computer system and my Security Setting, Firewall, and Allowed incoming connections for SyncMate. When I start the program nothing happens, it's like nothing is connected. Can anyone help me with this.

Thanks,

A5T3K  Works fine on my WM6 Samsung i760 connecting to my Quad 2.5 G5 running Leopard. I just wish it also had access to the MicroSD storage, not just space details.

EARLEYEDITION  I can't get SyncMate to recognise my imate JAMin.

If I connect the JAMin via USB while Syncmate is open, nothing happens, as if it doesn't recognise it at all.

But if Synmcate isn't open when I connect the JAMin via USB, the system seems to recognise a windows mobile device and Syncmate automatically opens.

But like in the first instance, after Syncmate opens nothing else happens, as if the phone wasn't connected at all.

And in both cases the phone doesn't do anything at all (other than start charging via USB)

Still searching around for a fix but if anyone knows, advice would be appreciated!

JAC MACMAN  I downloaded and installed SyncMate on my Macbook Pro. My windows mobile phone asked me to change the security settings on the windows mobile device. I downloaded the secpolicies.cab file from microsoft and this allowed my Samsung Blackjack with mobile 5 to sync with my Mac Book Pro running Leopard.

FLOMET  I installed version 1.0.0.260 and found the program would open but not sync any items, I then installed 1.0.0299 and found that the program won't even open. I have a MacBook Pro with the latest Leopard updates and an MDA Compact 3 phone running WM 5. Is it time for me to give up on this program as I have tried every version with no luck.

FLOMET  I installed version 1.0.0.252b and found the same problem, when I connect the phone SyncMate opens then the password box pops up. I leave this blank as I don't use a password then everything stops and no connection is made. I am running the latest Leopard with Windows 5 phone.

It looks like it could be a great program if I could get it working.

Many Thanks

ELTIMA  Thank you for your feedback. The problem with the password is concerned. We are currently working on this issue and it should be fixed in the next beta release of SyncMate.

I would like to suggest you a very convenient way to stay informed about updates of Eltima Software products:

http://www.eltima.com/software-updates/

Simply select the products or categories you are interested in, and input your e-mail address. As a result you will be sent an email when new versions, builds and products are released.

BIKEHAM  I don't think it works with Leopard. I have an Axim X30 and there is no new Network Device when I connect to the USB port. I am looking forward to this program working because I no longer wish to donate to Missing Sync each time OS X upgrades

PBRACK  I have just installed. Running Leopard 10.5.1 and trying to sync with an SPV M3100 running WM 2005.

Installed Syncmate, restarted the mac when prompted, started up syncmate and then connected the SPV (tried the other way round as well) but no look. No matter how long I leave it it doesn't connect.

Checked in Network preferences and en2 has been created, set to DHCP, but doesn't look likes its connecting (169.x.x.x adresss)

Any idea on how to get this working? I hope there is as it would be really really usefull!!

Thank in advance,

P
