HORATIO  About Compatibility Update for QuickTime 7.2:

This update delivers increased compatibility with iLife.

very short, but I suppose iLife 08, can't say if it is now more or less compatible , don't have iLife 08 ....

DANMARC  "This update improves QuickTime compatibility with iChat." that is what Software update states, I do not have/use iChat so no opinion
