CCEILING_FAN This is a great piece of eye candy for my mac. Since I am into eye candy, I use ShapeShifter. Unfortunately ShapeShifter defaults these icons when a theme is applied. The default Aqua works fine though. Can anybody point me in the right direction on how to fix this? Thanks (Version 1.2)

MACUPDATE ADMIN From the developer, in the post directly below yours: "YOU are responsible for YOUR files, I cannot post, nor should you download anyone else's files, for they may not be compatible with your system. These files vary greatly with each system as they are installed onto your system... " (Version 1.2)
| Sep 9 2007 |
HOTWIREDWV I will address these issues in future updates, as they are ready. YOU are responsible for YOUR files, I cannot post, nor should you download anyone else's files, for they may not be compatible with your system. These files vary greatly with each system as they are installed onto your system, i.e. Intel vs. PPC, they are different files all together. Thanks for your feedback. (Version 1.2)

NEONBLUE2 Yeah, sure. After I re-uploaded it I though of some other ways I could improve it. And yes MU, I should have but I'm too impulsive. Anyway, you can contact me via my blog (http://neonblue2.blogspot.com/), my email (semaj91@bigpond.com) or my Motion JWii MU page (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24670/motion-jwii) (Version 1.2)

CALLE In one single word beautiful - living outside the US, my world is still very iPhoneless but nevertheless the colorization makes a happier menubar to look at - though I like the older airport and battery replacements better and therefore don't bother to download this update. Dunno if it has changed in v1.1, but the earlier release contained english-only menu extras (the graphic files could of course still be installed into the existing packages, but I suggest it should be mentioned in the read me - sorry if it is already). END-USER-GUY I believe that this version goes over the top in making the Menu Bar pretty. I installed 1.0.6 (or 1.0.7 depending on which docs you read) and that added the Volume icon to Airport, Battery and iSync. All of that is working fine and was a fairly simple install. That's enough for me and I don't even use Volume control. 1.0.9 is just more iPhone than I need on my MBP. (Version 1.0.9)

OOSHNOO For all those who've been having problems, your best bet is to login as the root user and replace the files that way. That way you're not having to do any authentication, and permissions will not be screwed up afterwards. I had a problem with the Airport menu not dropping down on both a PowerBook and MacBook Pro, both running 10.4.10, and logging in as root, and "installing" the new extras that way fixed everything. E_COMMERCE And what is with the trend of people posting icon makeovers like this? At the very least post it as a patch to the original menu extra, and perform some integrity checks. Distributing a copy of the whole extra is going to cause inevitable version mismatches and breakage. I can't wait until people screw up their Leopard installations with crap like this in a couple months... Looks like it's already happening with PPC vs Intel. This goes for all other programs that see fit to wholesale replace things they have no business replacing, including other "color menu extras" offerings, and Aqua4iTunes. (Version 1.0.8)

HOTWIREDWV First, download 1.0.6, I have updated all of them and added volume. Then, start over. Select the Menu Extras that you are replacing, and drag them to a place you want to get to them later...like documents. After you count 5 of them in the back-up location, go back to the Menu Extras folder and delete them. Then, re-drag the 5 replacements over to the folder, authenticate, restart. To rearrange them, hold down the apple key, click and drag them to the order you want. Good luck and enjoy :) (Version 1.0.5)
