KENTR  Said goodbye to a desk full of stickies. Works great and fun to use. It's not for people that need hundreds of to do reminders. This program is better for smaller to do lists and pressing things you need to get done soon. My desk is much cleaner now and I'm getting more done.

ANDREA5722  This program made me think at the crews of European "conquistadores" that traded clinging and colored beads [the software colored lists and rattling sounds] with natives, against rich and valuable resources [my own 29 bucks]. While the program tries to place its value in its simplicity, lack of critical features [for me] such as no printing capability and one single installation per license [I can't transfer all of those cute lists onto my laptop when I travel??!!] have left me with that terrible taste as when coffee is mistakenly sweetened with salt ... Beware consumer, beware ...

FUNKY CLOUD  The main reason that LifeShaker is only single install is because in version 1 it is not possible to sync the database between two systems so therefore it really doesn’t make sense to have more than one install. You could manually transfer the database file between two systems but you’d also really have to transfer the preferences too and it soon gets messy.

Printing will be the next major feature and existing customers will get that for free.

I’m sorry to hear that you feel deceived because of course that’s not our intention. The whole reason we have a 14 day trial is so you can try LifeShaker out and decide if it is suitable for you or not.

EASER  What if I am willing to put up with the messiness of transferring the files from one machine to another? I do that with a lot of programs.

FUNKY CLOUD  That's fine. We've just changed it so LifeShaker now allows installation on two systems as long as the software is not in use on both at the same time.

MACNERD1984  I'm a terrible disorganised person. My head's a mess and my life is too. I envy those who manage to retain a sense of order because not once in 34 years have I managed it. So, I downloaded this app assuming it would be another one of those things which I use for a couple of days and then leave. I've tried hundreds of to do list style apps, organisers etc. Honestly, it may well still be that, but I don't think so. At first, I thought it looked a bit spartan, and the prefs revealed a pane with just 3options, but then I realised how clever this thing really is. For me, it's power lies in it's simplity. It's all there, laid out easily in an anderstandable and instantly viewable way. It might look a bit Fisher Price to users of some of the more "sophisticated" GTD apps, but then they probably need more than this app provides. I'm going to buy it and hopefully I'll still be using in a month's time! The only thing I would like to see is some control over font sizing and colours. If you're looking for an innovative yet simple way to manage day to day tasks, I think this might well hit the spot. Great stuff.
