191919  I can't find anything superior to the free web servers, such as Apache, nginx or lighttpd.

CENOCRE  I've done some testing of this and so far it looks good - much more logical than Apache. I still prefer Abyss web server at this point, but I strongly recommend that you check this out.

Apache really needs some strong competition as it can be a bloated pain in the butt. LiteSpeed and Abyss can do better than Apache for most needs.
