ANG  9 big months and... nothing new !

Always the same bugs... but a new software in préparation !

Please developper, we (buyers) use your software NOW not tomorow !

And we need love (yes) and also new version with less bug.

ANG  Invoice is the best program but it still very buggy :

For the pdf output or print, there is a very buggy management of the tables.

The last page is often cropped.

It follows that we can not see the last piece of the bill !

The "sort by" preferences are not saved (eg by number, name ...).

FRODO_LIFE  I had a chance to work a bit more with the software and hence updated my previous review from 2 to 4 stars.

To receive 5 stars the software would need the ability to send invoices via email straight out of Invoice3, needs to polish the UI, have a better manual and the price would need to be dropped to below $100.

The developer is very responsive and attends matter very quickly.

22DUKE  Have to agree very buggy, not very user friendly, poor manual just describes buttons, tried to print an invoice for two hours without avail I had to contact tech support (which was quick to answer) and after another 30 mins I was advised to go back to version 3.4 which fixed the printing issue.

Bought this for my wife but after the time it took me to accomplish things I think she will need to keep using Pages.

Bought it as part of a bundle but for the regular price of $129 it's way, way to expensive.

SNOWDROP  I have spent almost 8 hours to fix your special issue. Actually the version 3.0.6pre1 was released to fix it.

FRODO_LIFE  Yes I have to agree the developer is very quick to respond and fixed the issue within hours, I also got to use the software a bit more now and think it's a good piece of software and does the job.

What I would still need is the ability to email invoices from Invoice3 directly as this is a big draw back.

Also I bought it as part of a bundle for $59 or so and that is a fair price over $100 I think is still a bit steep.

BUMBLEB  Has been amazingly buggy on my behalf. And usability-wise it is a mess. Unusable software actually. I know, since my girlfriend bought a license, couldn't use it due to bugs, then gave me the license, same story. That with both version 2.x and the recently released version 3.

ANG  This soft is really great.

I have tried all the others (billings...)

This is the the best way to touch the simplicity.

Just overpriced (49$ / 59$) would be great...

I would like to have the ability to email with personnalization without exporting in pdf...

HENRIKTEKNIK  I would suggest the introducing of a small "vote for removal" button next to comments and reviews. There's a minimal drawback with that, sure, but it would put an end to reviews like this, which doesn't reflect anything about applications' qualities or lack thereof.

10 people voting for removal will bring it away, plain and simple.

Sorry, no... user error causes this. In the eight years I've been with MU, I've never had a post go astray. Never. And no one uses the reviews/comments (call it what you will) system more than myself, day in and day out.

HAUSLENDALE  Devekoper never fixed the bug that was found in v2.1.3 when creating Smart Folders.

Developer was contacted and will not fix it untill the next release.

i'll fix it. But the next release is not ready yet. I'm programming recurring invoices. You can either wait for the next release or you can fix it by yourself until next release (just unbind the text fields) from the ok button.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  What is not up to date is your browser cache. To see the screenshot, you should force reload the page by holding down the shift key while clicking on your browser's reload button. You may need to do this twice to see the proper screenshot. But the screenshot is up to date.

T7  Nice 'review' you have there. Gives a pretty good insight in how Invoice compares to other invoicing apps.

You could have just commented here, you know, and mail the dev to ask why the app didn't/doesn't launch.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  Yes, the parent poster should have posted the remarks as a comment and not as a review and should have contacted the developer and sent along the crash report. Simply posting that it crashed and then giving it a one star rating is not fair at all.
