STEPHANE CARPENTIER  This app is easy to use. You just have to enter your email and password and it displays your friends list.

The problem with this app is that after a few moments, the friends list disappear and you have to re-launch Friendz to get it again.

TENKDAY  Cool app-- it's a perfect addition to my dock. The interface looks like iChat and Mail had a baby... wish it were a little slicker, but it gets the job done! thx

VIPERSFATE  This program hasn't given me a problem yet! It's a great thing to have since I'm way to lazy to set up ICS in home so I can actually log on to xbox live. Thanks for the app!

GROOVEMACHINE  I use this app almost every day, checking to see which friends of mine are on. Nice job with the Growl support--it looks great. The only suggestions I have are:

-Make a dropdown list of themes (in preferences, duh) for the Growl notifications and the entire app (if possible). That would attract more users, being able to customize their environment to certain sizes, etc. Check out Adium X as well, and look at the options for the buddy list. The option that I use makes it very small and unobtrusive. Just some food for thought.

-Add a lot to the Get Info pane (i.e. last time online, last message they sent to you, and other things that you can't really do on xbox.com). Then people would feel more of a "need" for your app, which would attract even more users!

METANAUT  Great app, but two things I hope get addressed:

1. The "size" of the application, the space it takes. If it were smaller, more resembling Twitterific or iChat's Contact list, I think it would be more in line with the "status" windows in other applications.

2. The icon. Normally not a big deal that it's so "unfinished" looking, but since it's reporting information in the dock, some refinement on par with other apps would be nice.

If it fit better with the baseline quality found in other apps, I'd probably use it more.

WARRENPEACE  I love it.

In my setup, I have a Logitech remote changing everything, so to get the XBox ready, it moves through the TV inputs to the correct one, turns the XBox on and goes through the receiver's inputs to the right one. So, to check and see if my friend is on or left me a message, takes a few minutes. Then after getting to the XBox, I go through it again to get back to my TiVo inputs/settings. This saves me five minutes every time I want to see if a friend is on.

And since I can type messages to people, it saves me from using that awful onscreen keyboard and wanting to kill myself.

It would be cool if you could hear the voice messages, but really, that's likely difficult to do and not really necessary. I like the new translucency and my only gripe would be having to resize the window every time it opens. If it could resize itself (I don't have a ton of contacts in my list), that'd be cool. Otherwise, great work!

HIGHPASS  Good stuff. Could do with the following features:-

Graphite selection option.

Custom refresh time option.

Achievements pane with sort functions.

Messages pane: Search function. Sort functions (Status, Tag, Gamerscore, game being played - this'd be better than Live itself). Adjustable text sizes.

Messages window: Adjustable text sizes. Instead of buttons at the bottom, perhaps a toolbar at the top would look better (and would be more consistent).

Why does is say "just chilling" at the bottom?

"Sender" and "Preview" text ought be size 9.

Growl: Option to disable notifications for online contacts when the app is started (ie just for contacts that sign on after you have).

THERMO GLOBAL NUCLEAR WAR  What type of things were you thinking that could go into a 'Get Info' option?

Thanks for the feedback

JDUB800  Nice idea - Some suggestions on the new version: -

Maybe a coloured blob for status, as opposed to coloured txt - Hard to read on the light row colour.

Maybe showing more details of the gamer's card. Maybe on get info?

A minimised window launch option, with online friends on the dock popup menu.

Preferred friends growl alert. When specific friends come online..?
