TOBI TOBES  Really nice piece of software - I like it! Unfortunately it looks it screws up special chars on updating the ID3 Tag of an mp3 file. All my german 'umlauts' like ü ö ä etc are gone - not nice..

and I don't understand what action the option 'Export to iTunes' does.. seems to export in anycase..

GREGORGY  Great S/W that works as advertised and I would buy it but: v116 still kills artwork.

LIJUNFAN  Version 1.1.5 still destroys the cover pictures that were stored within my MP3 files! PLEASE fix that. It's unuseable for me with such a bug. Thank you.

***..

DINH  I've tried Tangerine and BeaTunes before.. Thought I'd try another app to detect BPMs..

First note, is it took me awhile to figure out that the evaluation version only works on files with names starting with A-J... So if your wondering why the app is just flakey, that might be the cause.

Second... Lets take the song Overcome by Tricky.. My tapping counter says it should read 84 BPM (its Trip Hop), but BPMer re-wrote it to 165.

Third... Far Away From Home by Groove Coverage.. It records it as 182 while my tapping counter reads 92..

This seems to be a common problem where its off by a multiple of two and is triggering off of something else which isn't the baseline. I understand, but I want a way of handling this.. Sensitivity, expected range, or even a way of playing a blurb per file and then asking if that seems reasonable?

There was also difficulty updating the BPM view in iTunes, but I'm going to attribute that to iTunes not updating with the files properly rather than BPMer.

PERSON1229  This generally occurs when a beat analyzer is analyzing for a different type of music. But what do I know, I haven't downloaded BPMer due to the comment that says it kills album art.

****.

ILAST2MINUTES  Much better than tapping as with my current app, and is waaay faster. Good job Developer!

Thought I found a bug with regards to ID3 tag versions while testing. Waiting for developer to respond.

Otherwise, Ill give it a four-star overall because It could be better in some respects. For instance, a short test revealed different BPM's for the same song consecutively tested.

Stability? Dont know. I didnt thoroughly test it on large playlists, or more than one playlist.

Pricing is relative. Is any app this simple worth $19 +VAT? Its all relative. Others cannot due without it.

Ease of use gets a 5 (so far).
