FONSR  Amazing! I downloaded CardRaider to see if it would restore photos on an 8gb SD HC card. I had already reformatted this card with my camera thinking iPhoto had imported them. There was a problem with iPhoto and I lost them all. Until CardRaider. Restored them all, and FAST. In FULL resolution! If I never restore another photo, it was worth the $20 for these 83!

IDAHO MIKE  It was 2AM, I was on a professional shoot when the card errored out. The subject was on the move, so I winced, reformatted the CF Card and went back to shooting. I got my shots, but I blasted what was on the card. Afterword, I had one of those "oh S*&%" moments realizing the card (before fomatting) had photos (important ones) that hadn't been transfered yet.

CardRaidrer found all the files and more. Files that had been erased several sessions back. Wow!

I am VERY happy to have all those files back. Yay! Don't need to explain to the client how I erased their photos.

UMIJIN  This app worked great for me a few days ago. My wife mistakenly deleted a vid file from one of our cameras while reviewing shots we took. I also looked on MU for apps that would recover files - tried all of them (PhotoRescue, Stellar Phoenix, Exif Untrasher, and Klix). Some didn't work with video files, others that did couldn't find the one we wanted. The CR demo worked like a charm the first time found that file (just wouldn't let me recover that file in the demo). I ponied up the license fee, and got the missing movie file in less that a minute after scanning.

I'll also point out that I also tried DiskRescue II, which could not find any deleted files on the same card. So, CR gets my vote. For me, it worked and worked well. The interface could use a little polish, but otherwise no complaints.

PEP77  This little app is awesome!!! I accidently delete some Halloween pics from my SD card, CardRaider saved my pics and vids, it even found pics I had deleted months ago. I downloaded and ran the software in minutes and it was easy/simple to use, pretty fast (recovered 250 pics and 15 vids in 10 minutes) and sent them straight to iPhoto, it not only created an Event of the recovered pics and vids, but made an album. And you can't beat the price!

SPLORP  The demo version of CardRaider was able to locate salvageable images that EXIF Untrasher missed. Based on that point alone, I will purchase CardRaider. The current MUPromo discount sealed the deal.

FAHLMAN  I was importing a couple hundred photographs in to iPhoto from my Canon SD750 when iPhoto locked up while Deleting the Originals (I'll never do that again!). I instanlty came to MacUpdate to find a utility to recover my photographs from my 4GB SDHC card. I downloaded a couple. CameraSalvage is twice the price and not as easy to use. Exif Untrasher is free but is not easy to use and it locked up during the recovery. CardRaider is easy to use, effective and affordable.

DUMBO02  The best $20 I ever spent. I lost some photos when transferring them from my laptop to my desktop. I foolishly formatted my CF card before verifying the transfer between computers was complete and I thought I had lost several dozen photos.

Card Raider found them on a CF card that had been formatted by the camera. Amazing! THANK YOU CARD RAIDER!!!

BURKI  I had a Compact Flash Crash on my Canon EOS - nothing was working anymore. This tool was able to restore nearly every photo. Great app - especially for this small price.

AQUILLES10  I thought I had lost some priceless pictures from my Nikon D50 and was distraught. I figured that $20 was a small price to pay for something that would save my pictures. I tried out the demo and sure enough it was able to see the pictures on teh camera's memory card. I then paid for the program and was give a download immediately. On my older G4 Powermac 1.25ghz, the program wouldn't start, so I then copied the app to my newer intel iMac, and lo and behold it fired up fine and saved all of the pictures from the memory card!

This is a simple program that works as it should, with minimal fuss. And for $20 the price is reasonable enough. Ideally, this is a program I don't want to use too often, but it's nice knowing that I have it just in case...

ILAST2MINUTES  Awesome program. Was able to recover deleted photos from SD card in Casio camera. It also found images that had not been written over yet. Very simple interface.

Feature to import recovered files directly into iPhoto. Forgive me for only scanning the manual however, this feature places the photos into the 'recovered photos' folder and not the iPhoto library where I had expected to see them. The 'last roll' folder only contained one of the recovered photos. I consider this a bug.

However, I will get over it for now. I dont HOPE to be using this program anymore. But glad its there if I need it!
