MACSOLU  This app & service have been discontinued, with Mac users especially put out to pasture. They are recommending Pando.com and I personally recommend YouSendIt.com and GetDropBox.com as well.

From their web site:

"VIPeers & Podmailing Beta Closed for Now and Shall Return with PUMP

I know this might come as a disappointment to some of you fans of VIPeers, but we have to close the service for the time being. The VIPeers / Podmailing beta-test has been suspended, enabling our team to do a complete overhaul.

VIPeers will be back with a brand new file sharing service integrated into Pump, our Video software for Windows XP/Vista which is currently in private beta. In fact we would like to invite you to try this powerful software which will help you to better enjoy Internet video from all sources. You can download it from http://pump.vipeers.com/ using invitation code PUMP-FOR-ALL-VIDEOS.

Thanks for your support so far and keep following us in real time on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/vipeers"

CYANN  This link doesn't work.

It gives you a "Podmailing_0_9_4.dmg.bz2" file, and it can't be opened!!!

MACUPDATE ADMIN  The link not only works, the downloaded file opens with no issues... if you remove the .bz2 suffix on the filename

MOK.IN.TOUCH™  This is not as 'Little' as it claimed. 35.3 MB application is not little. Even Thunderbird 1.0.7 is only 31.9 MB, Apple Mail is 12.6 MB and the SeaMonkey 1.0.5 (with the browser, composer and mail) is only 64.9 MB.

This so call "Little" thing keeps on sending 'Error' messages.

Want to send large files? Use "YouSendIt". It's free too.

BASTIEN  Hi,

I am one of the developers of Podmailing (so not the most objective commenter, I guess...)

Just a quick reply to previous posts, but it's been a while since this review, and the software has evolved a lot.

Try it, it just works ;)

For what it's worth, why send big files by e-mail with a software (like Pando, or Podmailing)?

Personaly, I can send much larger files, suspend the tranfer and resume it later, and have a preview for what I receive.

Just my opinion, not a spam trick or something. It's up to you know !
