LARAINE  Aw! I reckoned I didn't need this because OS X (Tiger) can tell me the time every hour. (It's fairly easy to get used to a sound but a voice is hard to ignore). However, I downloaded Cuckoo and its bong sound reminds me so much of the clock chime I created from a file I downloaded in the days of OS 9 that it reminds me how much I miss it. Cuckoo is a very nice piece of software and it's good to see the developer isn't greedy. Many "small" pieces of shareware are far more expensive than they should be, but the price of Cuckoo seems about right. I've given it only four points for features because I would like to see at least one set of proper chimes (Westminster, for instance) added to it, to be used along with the "bong" sound, so I can turn my Mac into a real (if rather strange-looking *G*) long-case clock and drive everybody else in the house absolutely bananas! They will wonder how come the clock in the living room has moved to my office.
