DSANDLER  Skyrocket is nice, too. However, I find some of its 3D effects (for example, the constant swooping around of the camera) a little distracting.

Pyrotheque has some great graphics and visual effects, but it's not trying to be flashy; I designed Pyrotheque to more accurately mimic the style and tempo of the original Mac fireworks screensaver: Pyro!, by Bill Steinberg and Steve Brecher. In particular, Pyrotheque's 1-bit mode is, for me, an awesome timewarp back to 1988. I hope others enjoy it too.

SHOTGUNWEDDINGS  So far, of all the Fireworks type screen savers for OSX, this is by far the best looking!

My only suggestion would be some controls in the future for colours, smoke trails & some control over the amount of fireworks.

But all in all, still the best of the lot, and keep up the great work!

DSANDLER  Thanks for the suggestions. I wanted to keep Pyrothèque very simple to begin with, to avoid configuration overload for the user. Even so, an "expert mode" might not be out of the question. [files it away in the feature request pile]

JOHNNYCAT1  I like it, quite a lot. Very simple, yet very beautiful. And cheap, too.
