DAVIDN46  with the older version I was able to click on a button (icon @ the upper right corner)

that allowed me to seamlessly export image iphoto .

I am not able to do that with this newer version.

Disappointed.

What can I do to get this function back.

I really liked it,

Thank you.

ARIF VAKIL  I've used Screenshot Plus extensively throughout my life with Tiger. It did have itty-bitty issues, but all fall flat in face of the value it provided.

However, since I've upgraded to Leopard and upgraded the widget too, all I get now is the "Loading" status. I tried deleting the widget and reinstalling it as well, no luck so far.

would appreciate any suggestions. I really miss the widget within hours of installing Leopard.

RYA  Here I am backtracking. Ignore my previous comment. I must have screwed up the install. I removed old version and tried again. Works perfectly now. Thanks!

RYA  Although I have downloaded the most recent version, I have had no luck with this software since upgrading to Leopard. The loading message is all I get. Too bad, this was a great tool and I am disappointed to no longer be able to use it.

SIBELIUS  Definitely the best screenshot tool of all - as well as the best widget around. Far superior to Apple's own Grab. It's quick, simple, takes up very little space and saves to all formats. I use it virtually every day and it works flawlessly - producing excellent quality shots.

(I'm still running 10.4.6 - but my wife has 10.4.8 on her iBook + Screenshot Plus works perfectly for her too.)

SJJ_PUBLIC  This is a superb screenshot tool, and a fantastic widget. Indeed, it makes the sometimes rather silly seeming dashboard actually useful. Thank you for making this available and for making it free of charge.

Incidentally, I do like it as a widget and wouldn't use an application version. The dashboard is the perfect place for a tool such as this IMHO.

SJJ_PUBLIC  This is the single most useful widget there is. It gives real purpose to the dashboard by making taking screenshots much easier and more functional too. Really, really slick and very highly recommended.

DDAVIDMULLIN  This application is so neat, especially when you make a LOT of screenshots.

you need OS 10.4 to use this "Screenshot Plus.wdgt",

but this App. is so neat, it's such a great program, for busy persons. thank you so much

TOMIS  I suppose this is for people who find MacOS X's built in screenshot keyboard shortcuts too hard to press?

The design of this widget is superb but; I don't see how this offers any advantage over simply holding command-control-shift-4 (or 3) , pasting into Preview.app, cropping however I want , and saving under whatever format i want.

Perhaps it's indicative of how little people use Apple's help system. Someone commented how it's great that the widget lets you capture other widgets. You can do that already.

Press the aforementioned keyboard shortcut, and then hit the space bar, mouse over the window/widget/menu you want to capture, and click. Bam! Easy.

NCIANCA  Nicely done! Would be great if it retained the last drag size so that it doesn't have to be redrawn every time.
