FRANKO  Not 5 minutes into the trial. i registered JABMenu for 2 licenses. I'm an old iAddressX user (still have it on my G5) and JABMenu is just the what I need as a replacement on my Macbook. running 10.6.1

Listing is quick and options as plentiful, I no longer have to fire up AB each time I need a number/email addy.

A suggestion: if at all possible JABMenu would be handy as a prefpane instead of a standalone app.

CHAINKING  Like the other poster, I was looking for an iAddressX replacement, which stopped working in Snow Leopard. I too was relieved. This is a great utility app, just as easy to use as iAddress and just as functional, if not more so. Well worth the dough, as it will get used on a daily basis for years to come.

WELLES  After iAddress X was broken in Snow Leopard and no developer was in sight I scoured the web for a replacement. I tried several overly complicated menu bar solutions for quickly accessing my addresses and wasn't enthusiastic about any of them. Finding JABMenu was a relief. It actually provides a bit more functionality than iAddress X but is just as simple to use. I've discovered no problems running it in SL and am delighted that the developer had tweaked it in this new release so we can expect support into the future.

GRYPHONENT  I love this app. Been using it since version 1.0. However, it brings my system to a crawl whenever I make a change in AddressBook. I’ve got some 1,200 addresses and each time any modification is made to the AddressBook JABMenu takes some 5-10 Minutes to update... during which time it is not responding and taking up some 40-70% of CPU. Written to the author about this and hope the problem will be eventually fixed.
