FXN  I find the name of this program misleading: Data Mining is "The nontrivial extraction of implicit, previously unknown, and potentially useful information from data", nothing to do with the simple features this application provides.

ANONYMOUS  Golly, whereja get that cute little definition? From your college computing instructor? But it has nothing to do with this app or how well or not it performs.

While he was at it, your instructor should have clued you in that names for apps are METAPHORICAL and that if we demanded literal truth from them (try this on QuickTime, for instance...) we wouldn't have many on the market.

In my view, DataMining is a nice little (free!) app that does one thing no other app does, and does it well. The developer could have called it "Pot at the End of the Rainbow" as far as I'm concerned. It's the results that count.
