Otherwise, I like it and look forward to using it.

MSWFUJOWDFFYC  The update function doesn't appear to work in .65 and the dialog displayed when you can't connect says "you're internet is down" when it should be "your internet is down."

I suppose I could have sent this via e-mail to check if my internet was down, though. ;)

Beyond that, I'm pretty happy with the application.

I agree with the previous comment of writing the last used compression to the plist, and making it default to the same folder that the files/folder the user is trying to 7zip is in.

Another suggestion would be to make the file name blank by default or make it the folder being 7zipped.

BEAMY  EZ 7z is a great 7zip tool.

It would be nice if it would automatically save the 7zip archive (next to the file which you want to compress or to a standard location which the user can choose eg Desktop).

It would also be nice if it would remember the compression level which you used.

ROBERT MOORE  I tried decompressing a 3.5 GB file to my second partition. Because there wasn't enough space on my startup disk (?), the process was aborted. The only way I found to workaround the problem was to move a thousand or so files across to my second partition as they appeared on my startup disk thereby freeing up space for the next batch. Very irritating.

B  I tried to compress a 162MB DMG and terminal ran 7zip and the output archive was 4KB's. So based on that I'd have to say something ain't working just right.

I'm not rating this yet but I may have to give it a bad rating because there is no way to get a hold of the author.

ANONYMOUS  According to what I've been able to find out, this compression technology is free, open source, and superior to Stuffit for OS X. So, what I don't understand is why it isn't the default archive format for OS X? Then there would be no need for everyone to install Stuffit! (I hate Stuffit!)
