WEASELBOY  Broken in Snow Leopard. I sent the dev a note asking if he will be updating.

TEKL  One thing is missing:

When a task is over the due date it should be marked red or with a different icon.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  Look in the 'Related Links' section on the MacUpdate page for DoBeDo, there is a link for the 10.4 version.

ASDFASD  DoBeDo is just a great tool! I love it, is the easiest, fastest and useful way to implement GTD.

I do not always have the Mail open, and I think most of us shouldn't since it distract us to much.

The dashboard is always there when you need it.

There is a beta version on the Bluehenley website that is working great with Leopard:

cheers

KAYEL  I was disappointed at first that DoBeDo wasn't available for Leopard, but now I have started using Mail for my ToDos, and now I couldn't care less that DoBeDo won't be available for 10.5. Mail works great and I always have it open anyway. One less process running on my machine.

BGOOD  When I upgraded to 3.0.2, DoBeDo stopped working with Leopard. I pulled 3.0.1 out of the trash and reinstalled it and it seems to work on the laptop screen. Whether it will sync correctly, I don't know.

DAC  I used DoBeDo widget daily as an integral tool to keep track of my tasks. Then I upgraded my Mac to Leopard and, guess what?.. DoBeDo only works with Tiger and the developer states "there are no plans to upgrade DoBeDo to work with Leopard. Development will continue, but only to support Tiger (10.4)." That's really too bad.

WPDV  This is the BEST 'to-do' widget I've ever used!

I have purchased and used many other applications/widgets, but have never been happy with one aspect or another. Either they didn't print a simple and clean looking to-do list, or they were not stable, or didn't integrate with iCal well. What I like the most is that I don't have to open iCal to add a to-do.

It's elegant, easy to use, integrates seamlessly with iCal, shows the due dates neatly next to the priority setting, and it prints out an excellent to-do list.

Absolutely awesome.

Thank you for such a wonderful widget!!!

FELIPE LUSTSURE  I definitely agree with previous poster. Alarm integration is the only thing keeping me from giving this widget a dime rating. However, what is the + thing that has no functionality except to pull down a blank window?

MCSMILEY  This is the most useful ToDo app I have used so far. The key advantages are:

1. It syncs with iCal so you can be sure your ToDos are always on your devices such as iPod, phone etc.

2. It is very accessible as it is a widget.

3. Despite being a widget, it has a lot of functions.

4. Despite being a widget, it is very sophisticated.

Nice touches:

1. Drop down calendars appear whenever you need to insert a date - this includes in the list view so changing the date is easy.

2. Clusters - you can create something called a cluster which is a group of tasks under one title that you do often: so if you have a weekly company meeting that requires say 10 preparatory activities which are always the same, you just make a new cluster and all the 10 tasks are included. No need to type them again and again.

3. You can email the list.

4. Just so nice and easy to use.

5. It is FREE!

Wish List:

Alarms for important to dos. Granted checking the list is very easy because it is a widget so it is just there but sometimes, if you are thick like me, it is hard to remember to check so being able to access alarms would be great. A lot to ask I know from a free app but it is such a great app already the developer must enjoy tinkering :-)

SLOB  Superb. One of the truly useful widgets out there. Total access to iCal todos without even having to open iCal. Perfect.

COCYTUS  Wow this sure is great! I've been waiting for a widget that could display the iCal todo's without keep opening and closing ical.

Would be nice it one could resize the window thought... :\

ANONYMOUS  This is a really useful widget, but I think it could be made even more useful if there was a way it could pick up changes to iCal without needing to close and reopen iCal and vice versa. Basically, if there could be some kind of real time synchronization between the two.

Is that possible?

Thanks for a great widget anyway.

ANONYMOUS  It's nice...the only thing that bugged me was the 'Due' option with all those options(which are nice), but no way to enter a date. It would be nice to have an option in the menu for 'View Calander...' and a calendar would pop up over the widget that would let me click on a date.

ANONYMOUS  Great widget and something that I've looking for for a while now.

Only wish that you could manually sort (by dragging) todo's (like in ical 2.0).

Keep up the great work!

***½.

ANONYMOUS  Cool widget.

But a bit big for my 12" screen.

It'd be also nice to coordinate the colors with iCal calendars.

other suggestion: if we could choose to show ToDo's from more than one calendar but not all...

good work though

JEFF  Like I said earlier: great widget!

But, two more suggestions:

1. Get it to not quit iCal; if I open iCal and bring up the Dashboard OR if I have iCal open when I bring up the dashboard, iCal is automatically quit (this really scared me the first few times it happened!).

2. Maybe let the user choose a different font/size and give more space to the text of the to-do items (right now many of mine run off the screen in an ellipse (...).

JEFF  It now allows iCal to stay open!!! Perhaps one of the best widgets out there now :)

Only other suggestion is to find a way for the widget to take up less space; it's one of the larger ones, and it can take up a little too much space for my comfort level...

ANONYMOUS  Has become the most used widget in my collection - it actually does something useful without needing to be connected to the internet.

Unlike iCal events this has a much nicer interface and does your todo items as well as events.

IVAR  I agree with Jeff, and want to add:

3. Stop it from quiting iCal.

4. Let the text have the colors from the specific iCal (like iCal events).

JEFF  Awesome!

Finally, a way to access iCal's todo items from the Dashboard quickly and easily. Only two suggestions:

1. Make it look nicer

2. Make it resizable

This, along with iCal Events (search MacUpdate), makes iCal 100% better!
