JUSTINNORMAN  I bought this widget several months ago, but have had a fairly unpleasant experience using it so far. It seems to frequently delete a note or two after restarting, which is a huge pain when important information gets lost. It looks nice to me, but the functionality seems pretty unreliable. Hopefully an updated version is developed soon, and some of the bugs are worked out. The company's text note widget is excellent, so I'm betting they have the ability to improve upon this.

ANONYMOUS  The interface is horrible, it looks like a creative zen (eww!), I know that it's trying to resemble a G5 theme, but the result is unconvincing, a black video iPod theme would look terrific, and it needs so work too on the developing process, the widget is so unresponsive, even on a dual 2.5 G5.

Onto the positive side of this comment: have you guys seen the developer's site? OMG! it's one of the nicest put sites I've ever seen, at first I thought it was flash-driven, but it's javascript, looks amazing and pretty coherent with what they do.

ANONYMOUS  This is simply not usable. It has some serious problems to be resolved. Doesn't record reliably. Doesn't play reliably. Nice idea, but, come on, release this when it has some minimal functionality!

KBOT  G5 Logitech mic no workie. Notes are created fine and recorded but playback (in widget and via finder and quicktime) is silent. Mic is selected as input in audio preferences and works with other apps. Good luck with this one. Try-before-you-buy!

S. C. STONE  The first note I made entitled "I love you" worked. It saved it and played it back. I deleted that note, created a new one with the same name and then nothing. It showed "I love you" in the list, but was not located in the document "VoiceNotes", and also would not play in the widget (because it didn't exist). I tried over and over making a new note with the same name to no avail.

So I deleted all the notes and made a new one using the default "New Note" as the title. This time it created the file in "VoiceNotes" and was listed.. but wouldn't play in the widget.

I've given up now. Sorry I didn't email this or post it to some support forum. I think I've done my fair share by at least writing here.

KUNIO MITSUMA  I second the request for an iSight camera by the poster below me. I tried this widget with the iSight and nothing played back.
