LEE BARRY SANDLER  I noticed that when I added bonds prior to May of 1992, it calculated the interest correctly up to a point. When I added a $1000 bond for May 1991, it shows interest of 644.80 when in fact it should show 622.40.

Also - May 1993 - a $5000 bond comes up with an interest amount of 1,876.00 but it should be 1804.00.

I am comparing the Savings Bond Tracker against two other programs - the first being the Bureau of Public Debt Calculator and the second - an Excel spreadsheet program that I've been using for years. They both come up with the bureau's calculation.

Am I missing an update somewhere? I just purchased the program last night and I'm using version 2.1 for the MAC OS X. I'm running Tiger.

Thanks,

Lee Barry Sandler

SPOTTEDSNAKE  Was just alerted to this posting by another user. Not sure what the original poster's setup was, but I did the following:

create a new SBT portfolio

add an EE bond with a $1,000.00 face value and issue date of 05/1991

set the "value as of" date to 4/2006 (matching the date of the original post)

and the interest calculated is indeed $622.40
