MACMEND.COM  In the discount of the day section "MIsha" says she used it for small servers connected via VPN, you dont seem to be able to reply to comments there, or else in my befuddled state I cant see the way.

I would like to know what settings she used for these small servers to improve connectivity?

S P L A T !  dudes...

first, I'm a 10.4.6 user and Carrafix still works for me!

i test this little tool, seems works fine, but will be great some kind of "aqua-bar" or "meter" to show us their work (like CarraFix).

A great implementation are UDP's protocols...

Will be a "rock" application!

NANODRAGON  Excellent application. It works as advertised and since it runs in the background (unlike carrafix, which doesn't work anymore anyway) it's great to have around. Not to mention that it's the only program of its kind available for osx.

SUPERMATT  Throttle Pro is CRIPPLEWARE. It cannot be tested without BUYING THE APPLICATION. It will not apply any port configuation settings unless you pay for it.

Screw that. MAKE A DEMO THAT WORKS, I REFUSE TO PAY FOR SOFTWARE JUST TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK FOR ME.

ANONYMOUS  The Easy configuration is fully operational and allows you to test the product. In addition there is a FREE OPEN SOURCE version that contains all the features of the pro sibling minus the gui.

CASTLE  I don't think this is in any way descended from CarraFix. I remember using the command line version of this around when Carrafix came out.

ANONYMOUS  I wouldn't go the moron route with that guy...

Ignorant sure...

QoS does indeed stand for Quality of Service and is available on many routers...

But as to his question yes Microsoft does provide that as a service in Windows XP (maybe 2000 pro as well). Which mind you is total crap but yes Microsoft does have their own variant..
