FLUENTNUDGE  Everytime I've ever used this program I get NSScriptable errors and the like.

Well it is a rather pointless app as it doesn't do anything other than be a gui frontend for extract-xiso.

You can of course get extract-xiso from sourceforge.net/projects/extract-xiso or from the Resources directory inside of this app.

Maybe when it implements everything extract-xiso does without _fail_ and some other features it might be worth using this app...

ANONYMOUS  Try using the "basic" commands in the preference panel. This sohuld fix your issue. My guess is that your using evox and avaluanch and they dont support the -l command or pasv command

ANONYMOUS  the new v2.0 xboxbrowser.dmg file will not mount, checking the description, the file size is supposed to be around 720kb, but the downloaded file is only 4k. when you try to mount the software the error states unrecognized format.

other than that, i've used the previous v1.5 which was pretty buggy, but it did its job. can't wait till the download get fixed. :)

ANONYMOUS  As I've previously posted my problems with Xbox browser here, I now want to post my positive experiences with this app.

It works great, although you have to keep in mind that your firewall is down, otherwise it just doesn't work.

Versiom 2.0 = highly recommended!!

ANONYMOUS  Don't give it a 1 star if you can't get it to work. It obviously works fine for everyone else. It's you that is having the problem not the software. Troubleshoot before making a silly post like that or contact the developer.

TOXIKK  This build is working great so far. I am going to drop stupid evox and use xbmc as my default. Great support from the developer on this as well. Can't wait for the features that are currently in development.

Cheers!

ANONYMOUS  If you have your Xbox settings saved in the Preferences and then plug in a different Xbox with a different IP, the app will crash. The app gets stuck on 'Loading Global Variables.' This kinda sux since I switch between my own Xbox and my friend's all the time. Please fix this. Other than that good app.

ANONYMOUS  Nice app. I would like to see a status bar when extracting and uploading to the Xbox. When I drag an ISO my cursor turns into the green drag arrow and stays like that until the ISO is done extracting and uploading. It would nice to see a status bar at the bottom of the window. You should also make the Preferences, a drawer instead of its own window and have a buttom to show and hide it. Other than that, the app does what it's supposed to do. I would definately recommend this to people. Good job!

ANONYMOUS  MAybe people should use something else instead of that lame-ass Evox anyway. XBMC or Unleash X, or even Avalaunch. Then they wouldn't have problems with tis.

But seriously, add some different features to this. Like some automator actions and what not.

THE HEAD ELF  sry for all the problems you guys have been having. i've tracked down the source of it and i believe it's due to evox's dumb ftp system. it doesn't let you use the PASV command. so i've having to write in a option that lets u switch to the system PORT in place of system PASV. the new version should be out in a few days. sry for all the problems!

ANONYMOUS  the "bus error" your getting is in the iso-extractor command line tool itself. it's probable due to some weird networking set up your have or maybe firewall.

ANONYMOUS  I agrre with previous message, use Mac OSX Xbox Tools for extracting ISOs of games to the XBox, works as it is supposed to do.

If you want to transfer files other than games (you can FTP games this way too) backwards and forewards to the xbox, any FTP program can do this easily.

There are many FREE FTP programs out there for OSX.

ANONYMOUS  Can connect to the xbox, can see my games, cannot create or extract iso's though. When putting an iso on the xbox, it does make a folder, but it remains empty...

I love the concept, as this is a utility I've been waiting on for a long time. I hope these issues can be resolved. Keep up the good work!

When switching the xbox off, connection was restored on all of the computers. Even when rebooting with a DVD containing avalaunch, the same thing happens: all connection is lost.

ANONYMOUS  I know plenty of people who have modded xboxes that go on live. It's not Microsoft checking to see if you have a modchip or not, it's them actually checking the serial on your hard drive, and if you have had your live account for awhile, checking to make sure your hard drive has the same serial on it.

T  Because I don't like Tunneling software. You have to have it running on your computer, and then connect to a game there, then run back to your Xbox to play, and run back when/if you get disconnected. It's also slower than Xbox Live, and unmoderated for cheaters.

KIRKBOT  Xbox Browser is an excellent app that does what it does. It's not going to save the world's problems but at least everyone with a "custom" box can waive a finger around in the right general direction while using software like this. Thanks for your work.

And another note, given this run of comments may be getting a bit out of hand, until the last post each include a little information that might be helpful to a novice. Let's try to keep it constructive here.
