ODDSBODKIN  Something needs to be fixed here. Download page specs say Platform: PPC/Intel. My specs: iMac G5 Intel Duo OSX 10.4.10. Like other hopefuls commenting here, Wizzard launches from a nice top hat to a nifty red button which turns ornage when pressed. Finder relaunches and, except what was visible to begin with, nothing is revealed.

SHOTGUNWEDDINGS  No sir, didn't like it

Does not work on Tiger OSX 10.4.6 for me.

Never once did it toggle invisible files ON but it quit my Finder for each click on the hat!

I'll stick Hide & Seek until I can create my own AppleScript.

Thanks for the effort anyways.

SEMIOTICMONKEY  It does'n works for me.

No finder automatic restart. After a Finder "reopen", everything is as before. The invisibles files, invisibles. Tried more and more time but ever the same result.

Strange coz the last version worked for me without a prob.

DAVINCI  @ FUNNELLPD: semi-transparent icons are NO error! - It's normal.

And the GUI should look better now.

@ MACMEDIC: GUI should now be even more minimalistic!

@ CHIPHEATER: Why use Wizzard instead of Onyx? - Because it's faster for this specific thing!

FUNNELLPD  Not the prettiest app, but simple and works. Also work in Tiger with only a cosmetic errorÂ… instead of all invisible files/folders icons being gray, every folder/icon is gray.

MACMEDIC  Right on. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for - no more, no less. Perfectly minimal interface: click - all invisible files are browseable with in the Finder, run it again, click, they're normal. No name changes, no alternative browsing windows. Well Done.

CHIPHEATER  Works but when I unhid and then hid again it hid my all my Home folders. Finally went to Onyx and Appearance to hide/unhide to get them back. Since you can hide/unhide with Onyx why use Wizzard?

JOHN  Works great. Quits and restarts the finder when you click the buttons, so don't panic :)
