ANONYMOUS  hmmm..... this claims my Rev.A 12" PowerBook has no temp sensor

Have a look here: http://www.bresink.com/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html for a very good app that works !

DAVIS1  Too bad it doesn't give the temp in Fahrenheit for US users. Centigrade readings are useless to us.

ANONYMOUS  :)

Not often an American gets to complain about exclusions !

Perhaps if you got with the metric system (even the Brits abandoned inches and Fahrenheit for something useful a long time ago) the world would be a better place !

ANONYMOUS  I concur. Farenheit degrees are plainly useless to the rest of the world.

If US citizens (they call themselves Americans, thus stealing a continent's name to name their country, mind you) only tried to start living in the world instead of trying to force the world to live by their rotten nazi-like strandards, they wouldn't be invading countries and no-one could have ever thought that blowing skycrapers was a way to go.

Learning how to read Celsius degrees, although a small, simple step, seems a big one to our "American" friend (do we really have to wonder why?), but one that would surely make a better human being of him if he ever took it.

God save the Queen!

DAVIS1  Still resentful how the United States of America broke away from your laughably obsolete monarchy and surpassed you in every respect, limey? Go suck a banger. Meanwhile enjoy your AMERICAN Macintosh OS.

"...the Queen"?? Talk about useless!!

To the Developer: I was not criticizing your nice app, just wishing that Fahrenheit converson had been included. Is that so terrible? For better or worse Fahrenheit is what we use. If you wish to turn off US Mac customers, well that's your marketing decision...

TUI  You have to wonder, though, what is going on in peoples minds at the moment.....

'Marketing decision' about a free app.....???

And becoming a 'better human being' by learning to read temperatures in Celsius.....??? What??????

Peace.

DAVIS1  Forget everything I said about this app. I was talking about the *other* app URL someone gave which I downloaded and tried. Can't even use Temperox on my computer. Didn't anyone (including me) notice the Temperox illustration shows Fahrenheit readings? LOL.

My other comments still apply.

ANONYMOUS  Nor the eMac family.

I suspect very few desktops have temperature sensors.
