NETO  Hi all!

iGXP2 is already available through NullRiver's Installer.app.

Look for AppTapp, the OS X installer at www.nullriver.com/beta

Then, install iGXP2 on your iPhone.

Be aware that all those applications are in early beta stage, and are not supported by spoon software nor NullRiver.

SEAMUSK  This is the best program I've found for the Mac especially at a reasonable price. I use this mostly for disc golf and the developer has been fairly accommodating. I definitely recommend it.

ANONYMOUS  GolfXpress is, by far, the best golf app for OSX.

The developer is very responsive and the app is stable and simple to use.

The only comment I have: a preference dialog box will be very usefull to set measure unit and other minor customization details that, today, are set by the user inside the application.

NETO  Anonymous!

You are back!

Let's see...

1. The interface correspond the Apple Human Interface Guideline, so it's very strange you didn't felt confortable with it.

2. The "five games" you stated, is a requirement from USGA to calculate a handicap, not a limitation of the demo.

3. Command+W works perfectly. It closes the open window.

4. It does behave as an Apple application. It was made for OS X and if you have any suggestion, fell free to send me.

COW1  I'm using GolfXpress for about 2 months.

The Dream Round is addictive.

The application calculates your handicap using USGA formula and allows you to print statistics and game reports.

The only thing I miss is multi player games.

ANONYMOUS  Yuck. It looks ugly and it's confusing. I couldn't get past how it looked to see whether it was worth it. Many things require five rounds, yet the demo is only good for three? Bah. It crashed a few times just clicking around, and hitting cmd-W flashed a menu but didn't actually close the window.

This isn't a true "Mac" app, and it shows.

NETO  Anonymous,

Thanks for your feedback.

I don't know where you can plug your computer, but hey...what is your problem?

More than 1.500 mac users already downloaded this app in one month. Windows have Intelligolf in version 7.0, still much more complex than GolfXpress. If you think GolfXpress is useless, fine, don't use it.

But I didn't invent the concept of tracking performance to help improve the way you play.

So, if you have comments and suggestions to make the app better, I'll be glad to accept, but if you are just trying to fight, or question a whole category of applications, sorry, I'm too busy trying to make a better application.

NETO  Anonymous,

Thanks for your feedback.

No, you don't need to take your Mac with you, unless you pay for extra caddies

But you definetly must know how to use a pencil and a scorecard, which seems not to be your case.
