ANONYMOUS  Worked great with my G3 900 iBook when using a 4800 mAh Newer Technology battery. Absolutely loved it! With my standard Apple battery...won't even launch.

Where's the love?

ANONYMOUS  Downloaded but doesn't launch on my G4 PB Aluminum 1.5MHz wth 1GB RAM (1 DIMM, 1 empty). Running 10.3.9 with all System updates through today. Icon barely appears on dock, then nothing.

SOOB  I have never been able to get this to launch on my PB. I'll contact the author and see if he (she?) can shed some light on the issue.

ANONYMOUS  People, we should thank for the developer for the work, and stop wanning, God, we are not in France. Now, since many people says it won't open in the 12inch, guess I will wait a bit. But sounds like a nice little thing to have. Can any one fix the issue though?

ANONYMOUS  I didn't give it 5 stars for Features because it doesn't retrieve the cycle count, which indicates how close the battery is to its death. See:

I have a PowerBook G3, with Mac OS X 10.3.8 running. Somehow, Battorox doesn't recognize the battery even when the power supply is unplugged.

ANONYMOUS  Excellent! Quick and efficient. "Note" about not reading battery status while battery is charging is just for some, I presume, older Macs. My PowerBook G4 15" aluminum FireWire 800 (Mac OS 10.3.8) is constantly pluged into power (electricity), so my battery is charging constantly, but I got exact reading from BATTOROX 1.7!!!

Thank you for great little APP!

PAUL  Umm, it says that you can't check the information whilst the battery is being charged. Those instructions are good in theory, but in practice, I had my computer completely unplugged and running on battery power, attempted to open the program, and it presents me with an error message claiming that the program doesn't function during CHARGING, and asks me to UNPLUG my computer--it's already unplugged!

I'm running 10.3.8 with a supported Powerbook G4, 15 inch FW800. It's supported, so what's the deal here?

ALMCATE  By the description, Battrorox sounds like a nice little utility. The current version, however, won't open (12" pbG4) for me, so it's moot.

ANONYMOUS  Just to clear that up: the ISO unit "A" mean "Amp" which is the same thing as "ampere". The unit "Ah" means "Amp-hour".
