I have a PowerBook G3, with Mac OS X 10.3.8 running. Somehow, Battorox doesn't recognize the battery even when the power supply is unplugged.

ANONYMOUS  Excellent! Quick and efficient. "Note" about not reading battery status while battery is charging is just for some, I presume, older Macs. My PowerBook G4 15" aluminum FireWire 800 (Mac OS 10.3.8) is constantly pluged into power (electricity), so my battery is charging constantly, but I got exact reading from BATTOROX 1.7!!!

Those instructions are good in theory, but in practice, I had my computer completely unplugged and running on battery power, attempted to open the program, and it presents me with an error message claiming that the program doesn't function during CHARGING, and asks me to UNPLUG my computer--it's already unplugged!
