SULCALIBUR This is a beautifully made app. It really looks the business and in theory does an awesome job. Although it crashed a lot on Leopard 10.5.6 but now in 10.5.7 there is no chance, it won't even let me sign in now without crashing. It's a real shame because this is a stunning app. I would happily pay around $5 for this or donate if it worked. Which it doesn't. (Version 4.0)

BIKERANGER I had the same error: Unable to Connect to Xbox Live The error returned was "NSRangeException : *** -[NSCFString substringWithRange:]: Range or index out of bounds" Solved it this way: When you sign in to XBL with Safari, be sure to select "Save my e-mail address and password." This is essential, but is not the default on the sign-in page. (Version 3.0.4)

BALTHAMOS Do you think it would be possible to cut down on the RAM usage? I'm not sure if it's just because it's Applescript, but it's using about 45MB of RAM (I have it hidden and running in the background and call it up if I need it) ~Balthamos (Version 2.2.1)

GYGS I persistently get an error whenever the friends list goes to reload. Can't make file (file "Macintosh HD:Users:USERNAME:Desktop:Xbox Live Suite 2.2:Xbox Live Friends.app:Contents:Resources:Scripts:Friends List.scpt") into type file. (-1700) Also, this thing devours half of my CPU whenever it goes to check status. I don't think there would be a way to fix that, though (since M$ hasn't streamlined 360 checking yet). I'm on 10.4.5, PowerBook G4 1.5GHz 1gig RAM Thanks for all yr hard work! (Version 2.2)

WALTER_3_D I just setup a Pluto Home system (smarthome + media server, plutohome.com, free open source). Its really cool. It has a streaming movie server, music server, pvr. Plus it does home automation and controls a/v equipment too. Theres only 1 problem
You designate 1 PC to be the server; they call it the core. It exposes a network boot image for any other PC in the house, so your PC becomes dual purposenormal pc, or net boot and its a set top box. You control it with Bluetooth mobile phones or web pads. And all the set top boxes in the house work together. Your media even follows you as you move from room to room if you keep the phone on. The problem is I dont have enough media pcs for all the rooms in my house, and buying a full PC for each room is too expensive. Plus theres no video cards for the PC that have component video outputwhich is the only way I can get HDTV into my tv. The X-Box seems perfect as a media director. Its a PC inside, right? So why couldnt it boot like normal as an Xbox, or net boot as a pluto media director? Then it would be part of a whole house solution that did everything. I could even use the Xbox to turn on my sprinklers if I wanted, and do all sorts of stuff with it. Plus, since Pluto gives it a network boot image, space is no longer an issueall the software could be stored on the main server. And the XBox has component video and its quiet and cheap. Does anybody have an idea if it would be possible to use the XBox as a media director like that, doing a network boot? Then I could just buy a few of the XBoxs rather than having to buy regular PCs. STERNHAMMER This is a substantial improvement over the previous version. It's much more reliable and doesn't seem to have the continued problems maintaining a Passport login the way version 1.x did. The Halo 2 emblem designer is fun as well.

ANONYMOUS This program is a pain to get to work. I tried to get my MSN Passport to link with my gametag but the page kept refreshing and telling me it "couldn't link my name to my gametag" before I could finish putting in the exorbitant amount of information it asks you for. INCLUDING phone #, credit card digits, etc. Sounds sketchy to me. Oh yea, I never got it to work either. Good idea. Lame execution. (Version 1.0.1)

ANONYMOUS freaking sweet, i have some suggestions make the widow, with a search bar optional, so you can make it smaller, also, have the window for the stats display the percentage of completion, to the next level, look at MLG, kinda like that. also, make the program, so that when you double click it bring up the details (Version 0.7)

ANONYMOUS As a 0.5 product this app is great. Most of the limitations appear to be with xbox.com and not the software. For some reason Xbox Live won't let you stay logged in for more than an hour. The app is well integrated and actually has a little web browser built-in that points to the log-in page for Xbox Live to make signing in easier. Did I say "Xbox" enough? (Version 0.5)

TJ Seems like it could be a very helpful application though a couple of suggestions maybe? Make it a bundled plug-in for iChat so it is not a self running application but rather a extensions and saves on clutter. Optimize it to run smoother, seems to like chug along and is non responsive here and there. (Version 0.5)

MINDQUIRK SOFTWARE XBL Friends is completely unrelated to iChat, because it does not chat. Also, not everyone who uses XBL Friends also uses iChat at the same time. Also, I dont think iChat even supports plugins, nor do I know how to make one. (Version 0.5)
