PIRX  It does not start under OS 10.4.6, it crashes on starting the app.

ANONYMOUS  This concept has potential. I was actually searching for a Finder replacement when I found it. Not exactly what I was expecting to find, but still cool. Some comments:

- Better tree view, with file details and icons.

- More customization! Fonts, etc.

- Why don't my cmd-line utilities work properly (vim) ?

I would personally love to get away from the pointy-clicky Finder and have the command-line always there at my fingertips. Maybe this app can make it happen in future versions?

Does exactly what it should... Turn the l33tness of teh terminale into a GUI CASA! I SELL ORANJES WITH iTERMINAL!

ANONYMOUS  LMAO I can't even decide if this is a real review or not.

As good a reason as any why this thing is an abomination.

ANONYMOUS  I agree with most others that the name is just too close to the "really good" iTerm. Consder changing the name and drop the price to free?

ANONYMOUS  I don't mean to be rude, but... what in the world is the point of this software? And what is making me pay $5 for it. Its not worth $5 to go through the trouble of getting my card out of my wallet.

ANONYMOUS  Interesting - thank you for sharing your view with us.

Now, time for the rest of the world to move on.

YNOT  Scary part of this is that the person spent $5 in his/her time writing the comment.

Amazing how people can whine about everything. Too much, too little, too fat, too thin. Get a life and move on.

ANONYMOUS  what's scariest is someone spent many hours of their time writing a fake terminal program with an outline view stuck onto the side and a text field for input.

GORDON  To the folks who don't think it's worthwhile or who don't want to pay for it:

I 'm fascinated by being able to use Terminal and anything that helps in even a small way

is a Godsend for me.

What I would like is a more detailed idea of what it actually can do. If that helps me, $5

is surely worth it.

If you want to learn unix, learn it and don't rely on crutches.

PETE  This app shows promise.

Two things though annoy me - the name. It is TOO close to the excellent Terminal replacement, called iTerm. The archive is indeed called iTerm. I found that confusing.

Even a joke - in a Terminal app is not amusing. For a minute I thought that useless little script was deleting items. Not a place for a joke!

I'd change the name and edit the joke out of that sample script.

JASON  Like five dollars is going to kill you. Sheesh, so many people now days squeak when they walk. If you are going to go around squeaking all of the time, at least shove a piece of coal up your backside and make a diamond or two.

Oh, by the way, if you really want to complain that something that is so inexpensive is overpriced and the person is not justified in making living as you do, then you give away your services for free. Then, you can whine about a price.

ANONYMOUS  It's not only overpriced, it's entirely unnecessary. You already have a much better terminal in /Applications/Utilities. You can drag folders into it from Finder. Why would someone want to use this?

ANONYMOUS  You think he's going to make a living off a few $5 contributions? Yeah right. Even if there's one registration every working hour of the week, he's only going to make the atrocious US minimum wage, which is *not* what anyone in a civilised country recognises as anything remotely approaching a decent living wage.

So he might as well give it away, stick it on his resume, and send it off to Microsoft, where they love feature bloat.
