ALGAL  It hasn't disappearaed. the new download link is here:

http://www.labo-apple.com/SupinfoShareManager201.zip

The UI is not perfectly obvious, but if you read the help file there are options for having the program automatically mount shares at startup, mount shares depending on what network configuration it finds (so called "Smart Collections"), and hide itself from appearing in the dock.

For what it's worth, this program successfully mounts shares that MountWatcher, a shareware app with a nice interface, fails to mount.

TC  The download link is dead. NOW I wish I hadn't trashed my copy of the image :(

Does anybody know of a mirror?

***½.

CROW  A nice idea, but there are some bugs. It frequently shows (by way of the checkboxes) that I have other servers mounted, when I don't. When I click connect on one server, it will mount it, but show two servers checked off. Strange.

I'd love to see it work as shortcuts from the dock icon so that I don't have to open up the app in a window to use it.

ANONYMOUS  I'm goning to release a new version that correct this problem. It's only occurs when you have multiple servers with identical mount point name.
