REVERB For one thing, the ability to run it remotely from an ssh session.

For example, if your employer blocks MSN traffic, you can ssh to your Mac at home, and use this "Text-based MSN" on the Mac.

	Dec 3 2004	ANONYMOUS Useless. Refuses to authenticate. I double and triple checked the username and password, but it still fails authentication. Connecting with another IM client using the same username and password works, so it has to be this software that is at fault. (Version 0.1.3)		0

SANOI Note the past tence in that sentence. Now I know of three, but I've come too far to let go of this project. More features will be added that other clients doesn't support, as an example there will be support for RSA encrypted chat-sessions in a near future.

EDUO I understand the past tense, but the phrase still shows there wasn't enough research. I'd understand that maybe the developers didn't like the existing ones, but not that they didn't know about them. CenterICQ alone has several years in its back to be so easily dismissed.

The fact that there are other clients that do the same thing means nothing.
