	Aug 24 2006	SHAOLIN This appears to be a port from Windows and as such exhibits the interface design methodology typical of Windows programming. The most fundamental action (pasting your feed into a field and hitting return) should be instantly and immediately obvious upon launch. Instead there are rows and rows of tiny, inexplicable icons with other rows and rows of tiny menu items and nothing pointing the user to the primary functionality of the program. The functions are there, no doubt, but impossible to discover without spending hours learning the programmer's mind and method. Not good, in other words, and I deleted it after 1 minute of reviewing the interface. Note to developers everywhere: not only does interface design matter, it's critical!! thanks for listening . . . 	Oct 16 2004	JAZZMAN I am new to the world of RSS and I have installed several RSS readers. This one has an 87 page user manual as well as a succinct tour guide. Using it is so enjoyable that I installed it on my G5,iMac as well as on my Windoze machine. Succinctly the flexibility,and features offered by THIS newsreader are wonderful! The author should be commended and encouraged for offering it FREE! I would GLADLY pay 25 to 35bucks for this app if it were shareware. (Version 3.7)		-2

	Oct 15 2004	LUXURYLUKE First of all... why is this download 10MB for a RSS reader? Second of all... why is this program 23MB? It isn't even loaded with preloaded RSS feeds? So why the bulk? I'm confident this could be a great app, especially since it's free, however, it looks to be made with a developer program that compiles for every platform (which is great, don't get me wrong). But it does not utilize Apple specified GUI standards and as a result it is clunky, interface elements overlap eachother, and at that point, i quit the app and i'll pro'lly never open it again. Sorry. Props and evrythang, but.... sorry. not interested. (Version 3.7)		0

ANONYMOUS It's huge because it's a Smalltalk program.

Smalltalk is a wonderful programming language that had the bad luck to become associated with the first (very first) generation GUIs at Xerox. While Smalltalk did many things right for the first time, it didn't get everything right (how could it have?) ... but nobody's seen fit to separate the GUI from the language, so Smalltalk programs are built around an updated but still quarter century old GUI model.

What's really sad, though, is that there's been so little advance in GUIs over the past 25 years that it's not immediately obvious that it's such a relic of the past.
