FELIX01  I see absolutely no reason why this app shouldn't be receiving five-star ratings. Does everything I want/need in a graphing weather tracker. Runs 24/7 on my desktop computer and works fine with Snow Leopard.

The developer answers e-mails expeditiously and has made every change I've suggested over the years.

BORLOX  It will only run if it has write access to the application bundle, which means you either have to run it in an admin account (if it's installed in the Applications folder), or you have to install it in your home directory, where it's only available to one user. Either option violates the UNIX security model.

HODE  Does the developer plan on updating this software whenever Weather.com changes their webpage? Perhaps they should consider using the National Weather Service system instead...

ROB PROBIN  Home Weather Centre doesn't just get info from weather.com, but also wunderground (both normal and personal weather stations), NOAA and Metar. It also allows you to allocate two back-ups so that if there is a problem with a specific site then it will still get the data. We also like to provide (tested) fixes within a few days of a specific weather site problem.

GREGJSMITH  Looks like a nice program but no AppleScript support as far as I can tell.

MICHAEL SIDORIC  Very nicely done -- fell in love with Kairos the first time I used it. HWC is a more robust big brother -- with tons of added features, including more data sources, more complete notification options, and ways to monitor and review data.

As they say -- everyone talks about the weather -- well now you can have up-to-date data -- and be able to do something about it -- wrap pipes, plant your garden, prepare for rains, or head to the beach.

Nice work again! Can hardly wait for the next rev to see what you'll think of next...
