MEGAMAC_UK  Excellent app. Only thing I can say is that it would be helpful to tell those of us who do not read instructions :-) they need to be in an auction page to complete the entry instead of going to debug mode in Applescript.

MEGAMAC_UK  Ulli

Many thanks for an excellent script. Works brilliantly with Safari 4.0 and Firefox 3.0 on my G5 Powermac running 10.5.7.

Took me a while to figure out that I had to go to an auction page before it gets added to the calendar, but then again RTFM!!

RIDEUPGRADES  Do these programs exist for other online marketplaces such as Amazon [www.amazon.com] or Wigix [www.wigix.com]?

JAZZIZM  First I tried to edit the script to use Camino as my browser as eBay.de doesn't play nice with Safari (multiple re-logins required). So I changed all three appearances of "Safari" to "Camino" but that didn't work. This should be user-selectable. I changed it back and the script does work as advertised. Very handy! (10.4.10, Safari 3 beta)

JAZZIZM  It'd be also nice to have some sort of visual feedback when the script has run successfully (Growl?)

PROFINITE  It does not even launch under 10.4.10.

An attempt to launch from within ScriptEditor results in an error as well.

Simply, it does not work at all :-(

ANDU  Dropped Application over Scripteditor. From here the script could be executed also after saving as new script or new application continued to word even with german ebay on MacbookPro (Intel).

ANONYMOUS  1.6.1 and 1.7 dont support BST properly. The function is in the script, but it doesnt find the time zone - stating

"unrecognizable or uninterpretable eBay time zone".

Shame.. worked wonderfully when it was GMT. Still.. I'll be able to use it again from October!

ANONYMOUS  Yes, the same with ebay.de: Since one or two weeks ebaytoical no longer works because it can not interprete the time zone information (at least it says so).

This is a pity, it really was one of my tools I used most frequently, simple to use and did exactly what I need... So if it could be fixed... :)

ULRICH KORTENKAMP  The problems should be fixed with 1.7 (which is available now). ebay.com changed their page format, and the parser choked on that.

ANONYMOUS  Hi,

thanks for the quick reply & software update.

Unfortunately when I tried it for current German auctions like this one (http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6552421430&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1) I nevertheless still got an error message: Could not parse the page. Are you sure it's from ebay?

Cheers!

ANONYMOUS  excellent tool, works as supposed. tested with ebay.de, safari 1.2.4, and osx 10.3.8.

maybe a GUI would be nice, or a SIMBL plugin.

EBAY-JEFF  Nifty! Quite useful and easy.

This utilizes tools and applications you already have instead of using an "Auction Tracker" and have a bunch of bloated apps.

Firefox support will be a must for future development, however.

ANGEL DRAGON  Thanks to the developer for this great solution.

It works with Safari, but it does not work with Firefox, a great browser for the Mac.

I hope you can offer Firefox support soon.

Thanks again!
