ANONYMOUS  Hmmm. I've installed it (or, rather, drag and droped it into the plugin/component folder. For some reason GarageBand will not show it in the dropdown menu inside track info. Have this problem with several (but far from all) of my AU plugins. Any clues, any one?

ANONYMOUS  Garage Band's sounds are great, but the parameter arrays for the synth modules are rather basic, and adjustments on the fly can't be automated. The lack of MIDI output is the biggest hinderance to any musician with existing MIDI equipment; this is the "missing link", as it were, without the expense of the oxymoronically named Logic.

(Oh, now I understand: its called "Logic Audio" because (a) it uses 1s and 0s, not because the user interface is sensible or intuitive; and (b) "Obtuse, Time Wasting Clap-Trap Audio" didn't appeal to the marketing depertment, even with "Platinum" tacked on the end)

ANONYMOUS  er... have you ever tried using Logic?

Perhaps ever tried reading the manual? Not the most simple but certainly one of the most intuitive programs I've ever used!

Midi AU plug-in? very nice, certainly the missing link, adds a very nice extra level of depth to Garageband that apple don't want you to have.... (think they'd rather you spend the cash on Logic express)
