M-RICK  they are not !

the only way is to use the data entry in meters, but all the software remains in feet, all the windows, everything, and the scale is still in imperial system ... You can't use a scale for exemple 1/100 in meters, you need to convert it first.

In the preferences, there is no way to select or to set up which system to use ...

If there is a way to change this, so it is really not intuitive ...

Sorry but a software that cannot use accurately the international is simply useless. The world is not resumed to the US ...

SANDYKNOLL  Metric units, or any of the other supported units, can be both entered and displayed.

To enter data using other units, enable the Data Entry Mode, found under the tools menu, and choose the unit of your choice. Or you can use the main Data Entry form as well.

All distances/calls/etc. that are displayed on screen can also be viewed in any of the supported units of measurement as well. The display units can be chosen on the same screen where the particular text is shown/hidden.

M-RICK  it doesn't

when enabling data entry mode and then selecting 'Set view to data entry mode' the scale remains in Feets, the Prefe settings remains in Feets, Arc length remains in Feets ...

just like in this screenshots.

If it is possible, so show me these screenshots with meters and tell me precisely how to do ..

I would more convenient and more simple to use a panel like in all the softwares to let you decide which kind of units to use and then the software will adapt.

RAYTIBBITTS  I do not work for or with the producers or programmers of this application, but I am a user of it, and I am planning on moving from being a hobbyist to frequently relying upon it.

Metes and Bounds, the program, will give you area (acreage) calculations from Metes and Bounds data. The accuracy of the resulting calculation depends directly on the accuracy of the source data entered, and whether it was entered correctly.

Assuming you have the right source data, and you entered it correctly (and it doesn't have any curves in it)...you should be able to use it for calculating acreage. (However, how often do you have the metes and bounds, but not the acreage?)

I plan on using this program as part of a checklist I have when reviewing proposed contracts to build new houses on scattered lots.
