STEVEN GOODHEART  Wait a minute! Sheepsystem's Bookdog site is a "malicious web site?" You've got to be kidding me, right? This is one of the best, most reliable, and honest developers of Mac software around.

This has got to be some mistake on Websense's part, or else this is post about it is malicious. It seems really irreponsible not to go to the developer with this "news" first before posting something like this here.

I just went to the Websense site, and anybody can report a "malicious" site by just plugging in a link and saying why they think it is "malicious." No indication of how Websense verifies any such reports or if their findings can be verified. Maybe Websense is a legit site, but if they don't explain their methodology for determining that a site is considered "malicious," how can the info be trusted?

By the way, I have no relationship to Sheepsystem except as a highly satisfied customer who has had nothing but a great experience with the software and with the developer when I've need to report a problem.

TOM_BOVO  I'm not saying they are malicious web site. WebSense the company is saying that. They make firewall software and censorship software, so one day I try to check the web site from where I work, and BINGO. The idiot censors at WebSense have blacklisted them. The owners need to contact WebSense and try to get themselves unlisted.

STEVEN GOODHEART  Thank you for your gracious reply and for clarifying your intent. It's just the the wording was such that it was hard (for me) to discern what the implications were to your post. I apologize for responding so defensively when you were just trying to help. I did send an e-mail to the developer, who said he was a baffled as anyone what it was about, since Adsense doesn't explain how they come to their conclusions. The developer also said he checked his site and it's totally clean so far as he can determine, and had contacted them to find out what was up.

JERRY KRINOCK  Thanks to Tom, and Steven for bringing this to our attention. Websense informed me today that the issue is resolved and that, as of today's daily broadcast, sheepsystems.com is no longer listed as a malicious site.

TOM_BOVO  WebSense filtering software has this company on its blacklist and blocks all access to it.

Reason: The Websense category "Malicious Web Sites" is filtered.

JAYCE  I like most things about this application but not the fact that after I use it, Safari crashes if I try to drag a url into a bookmark folder. The only work-around I've found is to run Bookdog, quit Bookdog, go into Activity Monitor and kill the little piece of Bookdog that's still in touch with Safari, and then go into Safari's menu (once) for the Add Bookmark process.

I hope someone finds an easier way to get the two to co-exist.

JERRY KRINOCK  How about let's fix it instead of a workaround :) I've tried to reproduce this but it works fine for me, as shown in this short screencast. (Warning: Screencast has audio track.)

http://sheepsystems.com/files/SafariNoCrash.mov

Regarding the "little piece of Bookdog that's still in touch with Safari", I presume that Jayce is referring to Bookwatchdog. Although I didn't show that in the screencast, Bookwatchdog is indeed activated in the Preferences. I also did another test after Bookwatchdog sorted bookmarks and still no crash. We did have a crashing issue when Safari 4.0 beta was first released. Safari would crash if you were in the middle of editing a bookmark name when Bookwatchdog did its sorting. That was fixed a while ago.

Jayce, if you or anyone else could tell me what to reproduce the crash, we'll see what we can do!

Thanks,

Jerry Krinock

Nov 3 2009

JERRY KRINOCK  I believe that Xenophile is referring to the three rows of white-on-black tokens just below the title bar in the screenshot shown above. If you would pull down the split bar below them you would see seven more rows. But they are not tabs :) They are *tags*. Tags are used in Firefox and Delicious bookmarks. The whole thing up there is called a *tag cloud*, as described here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_cloud

except that we didn't like the idea of different-sized tags, so instead we put the number of occurrences in square brackets after the word.

How many rows you have in the tag cloud depends on how many tags you've added to your bookmarks. If they are Safari bookmarks, it will be zero, since Safari does not support tags, and the tag cloud is not shown.

XENOPHILE  Totally agree. I love dogs, but that photorealistic icon of a dog on a stack of books is just plain ugly. I'm sure that in person, the dog on which the icon is based is utterly adorable, but when scrunched into my crowded dock, I can barely even recognize it as a dog.

On the other hand, looking at Bookdog's interface reminds me that the icon is perhaps the most beautiful part of Bookdog...

SJK  Parts of the GUI still look unattractive to me in this BookMacster preview movie:

http://sheepsystems.com/engineering/Preview0121.mov

For example, those "customizing [1]", "Firefox [1]", etc. labels (whatever they're called) in the dark gray background of the Content tab in a Bookshelf at about 00:01:35 really beg to be redesigned.

LORIN RIVERS  This is PRECISELY what I have been looking for. I've just scratched the surface, but it's fast and flawless so far. I've got my bookmarks synced between Safari, FF2 & 3 and Camino. I hate the icon, though.

RICHARD RATZAN  bookdog is great!!!!!!! indispensable. it does so much more than alphabetize/sort (at levels one can control) browser bookmarks (it's pitiful that safari doesn't include such a basic feature when it comes to bookmakrs). i do not use most of its features, frankly, but like the fact they are there and at its reasonable price, it's worth it for just the sorting/validation/duplication identification features.

developer was very responsive to an unusual request of mine (how to sort by date of creation/modification) with a workaround

and upgrades - free - are almost weekly and painlessly installed and BBD relaunched.

a must have

ANON BUD  Really nice app. Syncs my three browser bookmarks flawlessly and the developer is extremely quick to respond to problems.

I had a major glitch with BD unable to read my bookmarks in Firefox 3 beta (Minefield) and the developer spent several days working to find and correct the problem–which, it seems, was unique to me. Any software developer with this kind of response to user problems is NUMBER ONE in my book!

Couldn't agree more about Bookdog's UI, though. That can happen when a hardware engineer designs software. :)

Feb 7 2008

SWGS1  sure, it may do more, but perhaps it could be said that anyone who is using a bookmark sync app for more than what Bookit does, and is compelled to look at software like this instead, should perhaps re-evaluate their strategy for bookmarks.

As for excusing the user interface of this app because the developer is a Hardware Engineer, seems to me that even someone who isn't confident in designing UIs, could do better than BookDog if they just stuck with Apple's development tools. I'd find it hard to believe that BookDog's UI was designed in ye ole' Interface Builder.

Seems to me hardware engineers might prefer to develop CLI based apps, or hiring a UI designer (consultant), or perhaps finding a gig engineering hardware instead.

JERRY KRINOCK  This review reports two incidents....

FIRST INCIDENT

REPORT: "bookmark manager in Safari is no longer accessible".

Developer's Interpretation of Steps To Reproduce:

1. Activate Safari.

2. Click menu > Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks".

3. Verify that frontmost window shows bookmarks.

4. Use Bookdog [somehow].

5. Repeat steps 1-2.

EXPECTED RESULT: Same as step 3.

REPORTED RESULT: Either the Show All Bookmarks item is gone, or clicking it does not cause the frontmost window does not show bookmarks.

Developer's Response: I'm always open to reports that can help me make Bookdog better, but I'm having trouble reproducing this. If anyone can tell me some conditions, or usage of Bookdog in step 4 that will reproduce the REPORTED RESULT, I will pay that person a $100 USD reward.

SECOND INCIDENT

REPORT: "Firefox has lost the bookmarks toolbar functionality"

Developer's Interpretation of Steps To Reproduce:

1. Activate Firefox.

2. Verify that there is a bookmarks toolbar.

3. Verify that clicking a bookmark in the toolbar causes Firefox to visit the url indicated by the bookmark.

4. Use Bookdog [somehow].

5. Repeat steps 1-2.

EXPECTED RESULT: Same as step 2.

REPORTED RESULT: Either there is no toolbar, or clicking a bookmark in the toolbar does not cause Firefox to visit the url indicated by the bookmark.

Developer's Response: Same as my response to first incident.

Sincerely,

APPLEHC  Ajuk,

funny enough I had a problem with BookDog a couple of months ago. Developer fixed it within 2 hours - and it was my corrupted bookmark file causing the problem.

This is not a "bookmark file repair tool" - still, it did exactly that for me! I use firefox, safari and IE on WinXP and on Mac. And I keep them all organized and synced with BookDog. I could not "live" without this tool.

I got a complimentary licence from the developer after my little problem. And guess what? I still payed for my licence since I do pay for good software!

ALJUK  It's a nice idea, but doesn't work properly. My source was Camino, which I attempted to sync with Firefox, Opera and Safari, by making those 3 browsers' bookmarks identical to Camino. None of the syncs was satisfactory. Firefox and Opera ended up with empty bookmarks toolbars. Safari got the correct bookmarks in the toolbar, but they had been rearranged alphabetically (not what I wanted). When I checked Camino (the source), its bookmarks toolbar had also been rearranged, even though I had not selected it to be touched. Extremely annoying. Now I have some work ahead of me to reorder Safari and Camino and reimport Firefox and Opera bookmarks manually. A total pain in the ass.

GLOBETROTTERDK  Bookdog is maturing very well. I have grown to appreciate much of Bookdog's take on bookmarks, having been a URL Manager Pro user for quite some time.

However, where is the support for Flock??? I know that Flock hasn't gotten to nested folders yet, but wouldn't it be possible to use something similar to the tagging that Bookdog does when migrating bookmarks to Google Bookmarks?

This would make the wait for nested folders in Flock more bearable.

JERRY KRINOCK  Good comment. We use the Installer because of our background application, Bookwatchdog. The problem is for upgraders: We want to make sure that any old versions of Bookwatchdog are quit and deleted. It is true that root authorization should not be necessary for this, but without it, we find that the installation fails for about 1% of users. Since we added the root authorization to our install process, these complaints have disappeared.

If you're a new user, or if you don't want to use the Installer and are smart enough to open Activity Monitor and quit Bookwatchdog and trash your old installation before installing, then you may download our zip archive and do a simple drag and drop install.

Sincerely,

Nevertheless, this .app is an essential to keeping my bookmarks organized. Good features. Stable. ROADTRIPDK  Great potential. Personally, my biggest beef is that Bookdog verifies by searching for the full path and not the domain (root) URL. There are a lot of commercial sites out there that use some sort of script when accessing the site. An example is amazon.com where you go to the root URL and the site loads a script so that the URL no longer reflects the root URL. Bookdog isn't sensitive to this and when completing verification wants to change the bookmark URL to reflect the script based URL. This is BAD for sites where the script URL changes often or each time you visit. The bookmark no longer reflects the domain (root) URL and you are forced to enter it manually and change the bookmark back to the "correct" domain URL.

M PREWITT  I have been using this program since it was SafariSorter. I gladly paid the modest shareware fee when it ceased to be freeware, and the program works beautifully. The developer is continually updating and enhancing the application, and the one or two requests I made to the developer were all implemented in a short time. Unlike some other shareware schemes, there has been no additional upgrade fee between major versions ... my original license still works. The program actually does more that sort bookmarks; it also checks for duplicates and verifies links. The GUI is still a little funky (though, IMO, not hard to use). The app icon has improved dramatically FWIW.

_AFTER_ I spent forty minutes sorting bookmarks and deleting a multitude of duplicates the application informed me that my changes would not be be saved. I am at an age when I don't have a great many forty minutes to waste.

This sort of rude behavior is a gross insult to users from a _dishonest_ developer.

Although the application may be useful I would be a fool to purchase any product from a developer who begins his relationship with his users on a patently _fraudulent_ basis.

AGRABOSO  Hi Jerry,

I had not read the statement above the download link. However, that goes to proving that people do not always read what you put on the webpage and go straight to the download link. Maybe you could include an alert window when Bookdog launches unregistered, warning that changes will not be saved.

GULLYFOYLE  Yes, it is NOW listed as shareware.

I tend to be very conscientious about the licensing of software.

At the time I downloaded this app, some days before I posted, the value in the license column was FREE.

I am certain of this because the first thing I did after coming up against the "no saves" issue was to return to MacUpdate and confirm the license on the application. I then _again_ downloaded the, apparently, FreeWare application in case I had made an error previously and downloaded the shareware instead of the freeware version of the application. I encountered the same problem and again returned to MacUpdate to verify the license was indeed free.

It was not until the ninth , when I came back to see if anyone else had been perplexed by the same issue as had I, that I posted my criticism.

I note today that all prior uploads of this application have been removed from the list (on the day I made my download there were at least two previous uploads of the application) and that the application now has the correct license information. Perhaps Google has a snapshot of the page on the day a made the download.

If someone realized the mistake of listing the application as FreeWare and later changed its license to Shareware I would expect apology for the mistake rather than the implication that I am either simple-minded or mendacious. I am neither.

BRUCE_Y  FYI, I checked a few of my earlier saved MacUpdate bookdog pages (I know, why save them - I do for the sofware I am actively using, investigating, or planning to register) and here is the definitive scoop:

- some list it as "Shareware" plus listing the Price as "$14.95", and,

- some list it as 'Free' AND three lines below that it lists "Price: $14.95".

So to be fair, gullyFoyle, you must acknowledge that there was cost/fee/shareware/price information on the page that you used to download the program.

AND, it is totally common practice among many shareware products to be available in a feature-limited demo mode before payment. Some downloadable software is feature-limited (as, will not save, watermark placed, etc), some is time-limited, and some will work fully but ask that you register, and some is totally free. There are many different models of shareware trials.

We sympathize with losing the time and effort to organize your data. No one wants that to happen.

But please do not criticize the vendor for your confusion on this. Rather, suggest calmly something like: 'Vendor: Please Display a warning message when the program starts up in Demo mode that No data will be saved.'

I can attest to the veracity of the remarks. Apparently some mistakes were made in the submission process and the app, while tagged with a price of $14.95, was alternately posted as free and as shareware on occassion. Vexing.

ANONYMOUS  $15 is too steep a price for something that Apple will eventually build into the browser for free. For $5 maybe, but not $15. Sure it manages duplicates and helps find and fix broken bookmarks. But all I really need is sorting, and it is just an XML file. I think I will write a free program in RunRev until Apple wakes up.

BEAF1  Good as Bookdog is the cost also covers back up service.

I had problems with Safari persistantly crashing. Apple Care techs were less than enthusiastic or helpful.

Jerry at Bookdog worked with me over three days to identify the problem - corrupt bookmarks - re-wrote them, sent me files to remove the corrupted set, a file to replace them. When they at first didnÂ’t fix the problem he suggested another work around, offered a link to a clean copy of Safari 1.3, along with clearly stared directions on how to proceed at each stage.

The cost of his time would have way exceeded the cost of Bookdog - such after sales service is rare. Compared to Apple Care fees Bookdog came out miles ahead - and all for $15.

ANONYMOUS  Honestly, it's nothing more then developer stupidity to publish something for free, try to charge for it later, and then not realize they will lose a lot of marketshare. Don't developers ever stop and think about their market at all? Obviously people are going to be pissed for having to pay for something that was once free.

If I was a developer, I would stop developing the free version (still give it away), and then start charging for a pro version with more features. It's the only respectable thing to do- I've already given something away for free, and to suddenly start charging for it basically disrespects the marketshare (people) I've already created, and who trust me to honor their investment in downloading my software.

Now for the wishy-washy people out their all pushed over because this developer is now asking for a very small a reasonable fee need to get over your greedy ways! Think this developer is wealthy and doesn't need to eat? Well everyone makes a living someway and his small utility is a method of that.

Besides $14.95 is going to break the bank huh?

NOT INTERESTED  I have to agree with the others that state Bookdog is overpriced for the functionality that it delivers. Saft (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12402) has a more reasonable price tag considering Safari bookmark sorting is just one of its many features. I wouldnÂ’t pay more than $5 for a product like Bookdog. This might be a moot point because IÂ’m sure eventually the Safari team will include sorting in a future version.

GIVE ME A BREAK  I love these "free" guys, I do, they are entertaining and you see them all over here, especially commenting on the system utilities software. Always wanting something for nothing, complaining if that something for nothing doesn't work right in a revision. My suggestion is simply: Walk into the nearest Apple store and go to the top-of-line PowerBook, iPod or G5 tower, simply pick it up and walk out of the Apple store. If someone stops you launch go into your typical insipid tirade about "free".

Now I am into "fair" and there is software I truly like, but I do not think they are being fair about the pricing and I say so. This software was once "free" and I remember when you went to the Developer's website and they had a political view. Boy, even though it was "free" people went nuts on the Developer and said how they were "forced" to read his political views (which was not the case). So the Developer couldn't win for losing. Now, the Developer is charging $14.95 for two (2) licenses and support for three (3) years which I think is both smart and "fair". The current version of this software is substantially beyond its humble beginnings in what it now does.

INTERSTITIAL  I agree with the other recent posts, but I'll be more positive. Wouldn't it have made business sense to keep this free and use it as a honeypot to attract people to your company's website, then sell other titles based on the great advertising of the free software? I would at the most pay $5 for this, but that's a maybe, as out-of-order bookmarks I can still live with, I just order my most frequently visited ones near the top. I am quite sure that someone will be motivated enough and community-minded enough to do their own version for free. You do deserve something for your hard work, but occasionally we all give something back to the community anyway, because everyone benefits that way.

BEZIERBOY  For $5 or perhaps $8, I'd pay for it. But $14.95, with no demo? I still have my old SafariSorter, but it won't run at all in 10.3.9 or any version of Tiger, which means I can't use it at work (where we're still using Panther) or at home in Tiger.

Gee, I wonder how Firefox can do this built-in while Apple continues to leave it out of Safari. Pretty damn basic functionality.

Work deserves pay, but I'm having problems with the number of freeware apps going pay-only for exorbitant prices lately. If I paid for them all, I'd go broke pretty quick, and I make a good salary.

Perhaps a "lite" version? Or some competition? I'm tempted to figure out how to do this with Automater or perhaps learn Pearlscript or Java for it...

It's not even going to prove to you that it can do what it claims.. Not once! That doesn't count as shareware.. You can cut features out of a demo, but not the sole feature that a program exists for. To me this is a downloadable features page and nothing more... Should be donationware at its greediest...

JERRY KRINOCK  In my opinion, Mishmash is correct. Bookdog was incorrectly listed as shareware. I have just revised the listing to indicate that it is indeed "commercial".

The error was introduced by MacUpate which, readers may be surprised to learn, wrote the listing for Bookdog after monitoring our our website for changes, I presume using a robot. (Although the limitation of the unlicensed version is stated there, MacUpdate must have overlooked it, or has a different definition of shareware.) They wrote our listeing because, as others have mentioned, Bookdog is still needing more features and a better appearance, so, after customer support which is our #1 priority, we're spending as much time as possible on engineering and not marketing.

We do have a policy of giving free licenses to any prospective customer who points out bugs or errors in our product or sales process. Mishmash, thank you very much for helping us correct this error, and please identify yourself to sales@sheepsystems.com so we can send you your free license with its three-year warranty.

ANONYMOUS  Nice program - with 1800+ bookmarks (1800! where did they all come from?) keeping them in order is a must. The only improvement I can think of would be to make it capable of sorting bookmarks in other browsers. I use Safari, IE, Shiira, FireFox and SunriseBrowser so I can see how my pages look in multiple browsers, and I'd like to be able to sort bookmarks in all of them.

Features: 5 - it does exactly what it says it does, no more, no less.

Ease of Use: 5 - tell it once how you want your bookmarks sorted, and you're done.

Value: 4 - yeah, I'm cheap - I miss the price of SafariSorter. Still worth it, though.

Stability: 3 - I've had my Pismo up for weeks at a time, with SafariSorter running with no trouble at all. I'd give SafariSorter a 5; I'll have to run BookDog for a few weeks and see how it does.

NORM NAGER  A must-have complement to Safari 2.0. Bookdog takes all the work out of keeping one's bookmarks and bookmark folders organized.

It not only gives you options for what's to be included in the alphabetical sorting of url's and their folders, but it also hunts for duplciates and allows you to choose which, if any to delete.

Its developer provides excellent support and listens to suggestions.

I used it as donate-ware in its earlier form as SafariSorter and was very pleased that its developer created Bookdog for Tiger and Panther's OS 10.3.9.

LARRY  Great Great app. does alot for the size. Would be even better if there was also a "delete all" duplicates function in addition to one at a time.

Stability gets 4 for the installer. Hangs on my G4, installed on powerbook without incedent.

JERRY KRINOCK  I like the idea of "delete all"; but unfortunately to fix a duplicate pair you need to delete one of two bookmarks. One is in the "right" place, and the other is in the "wrong" place. Only the users knows which one is "right", so that's why you have to look at all of them.

JERRY KRINOCK  A small percentage of people with 10.2.8 had been having installation problems. I tweaked the packaging yesterday, and two of the people who had problems report that it worked for them today. So, it looks like it is fixed. Please visit the SafariSorter website and try again.

NICKIE  This application is so useful, I've been looking for something like this for ages - I've used BookIt which is great for managing bookmarks from multiple browsers and generally reorganising them but it can only sort *everything* alphabetically.

SafariSorter lets you specify so many rules and options that you can get it to sort exactly the folders you want and not others. Just brilliant. It's so good Apple should pay this guy to integrate its features into Safari.

Oh, and regarding the political stuff, I happen not to see any problem with it, ok so it's a bit unconventional to have politics in the Help files for an application, but I thought his approach to "Registration and Price" was genius. Anyway, if you don't agree with those views, it's no reason at all to avoid using this software, after all, you pay a lot of products and don't even know what politics those companies are not just supporting but financing directly with your own money, how do you feel about that? At least the politics here are declared, and the product is free. But if you are so delicate you can't even stand being accidentally reminded of the consequences of war, by all means do not read the "Registration" page, don't read any papers, don't turn on the tv, don't listen to anything that doesn't give you a warm fuzzy feeling about your government, but most of all, please, don't even bother to vote! Thanks.

UMAROMC  A quite useful program written by someone with a sense of truly human conscience- bravisimo! Any way to accelerate it for the Radeon 9800 I have on order? Hehe, just kidding! Oh yeah... just caught Full Metal Jacket on TV today. The old, gun-ho meathead in me loved the grunts and war, blood and guts loving, "Semper Fi, do or DIE!" of the movie and hated the stupid "Gook-lovin'/simpathizer" journalist with his "reference to the duality of man..." The "new" meathead in me hates the idea of American, worldwide business-based manifest destiny purchased with power and death and fear... in light of todays atrocities made by good ole boy (and girl) Americans... I see past the outward message of that very same movie and finally understand Stanley Kubrik's anti-war message that I'd never realized before, because I'd been told it was meant as an anti-war film. An audiovisual agit-prop. The American soldiers were just "doing what they were told to do?" Funny thing is... that's the same defense the Nazi soldiers had at their Neuremberg trials... This is impunity. "God bless America... Semper Fi, do or DIE!" Have a nice day!

ANONYMOUS  Finally someone has done something about the very poor Bookmark Management of Safari.

Kudos to the Developer.

I do agree though with the previous comment about the developer's politics. I do not necessarily agree with his politics but he has a right to speek his mind but in a more appropriate venue. Please keep your views to your website where it belongs.

Thank you though for trying to satisfy a problem that resides in many browsers. It would be even nicer if SafariSorter could act on Safari's Bookmarks as soon as the user points to what folder he wants it stored in and clicks on Add Bookmark and it gets sorted immediately. Sort of transparent to th euser.

Also, if the user pts "SafariSorter" in the Startup Items in System Preferences, it will sort each time the user boots his Mac !!

Thanks anyway, Politics aside I use your utility and appreciate the time you took to create it ! Please consider removing the current contents from your help file and refill it with more appropriate info. Of course you have your rights to do as you please

GUNS KEEP AMERICA FREE  The program is decent enough, but the help file is frankly quite ridiculous. Mr. "left-wing" (the author) has made a stand with his socialist/leftist ideology, using his "help file" as a soapbox. How pathetic.

Perhaps when the next plane is hi-jacked he'll be on it and can explain to the terrorists how sorry he is that America's leadership has chosen to defend itself instead of caving into the pacifist left.

All of the political mudslinging aside, the program does as advertised and I'd use it - if it weren't for the fact that I know my contribution would assuredly go the "way" of moveon.org. Thanks, but no thanks.

ANONYMOUS  I can understand that you're upset with the developer's political stance (I hate grandstanding myself), but it's probably better to take it up through an e-mail, rather than try scoff at their views through a software review site. What's more inappropriate -- their views or your public indignance?

TOM  When apple presented safari as a fast and bare boned browser , I tried it out and could not get used to collecting bookmarks and having to drag them around to get them in order. Lets

fase it, it's hard to find an old bookmark(using

find) even if you named it. Thanks Jerry, I really

missed this feather I used for so long in Internet Explorer. Great Application and free

try it you'll love it.

JUSTIN  I downloaded and tried this app out.

Does what it says which is fantastic.

If you don't do much organizing of your bookmarks on your own I can see the huge benefit of using this.

Personally, I keep almost all my bookmarks filed in folders and the ones I use most closer to the top, so I don't think I'll need this. But, like I said, if you want a great way to just get your bookmarks into some type of order (alphabetical) this will do it for you. Plus it's free! Can't beat that!

NOS  We all love Macs but we know Apple's nature is not buying gems like this one from developers, instead, they steal the idea, for example... like Watson from Karelia software when they "made" Sherlock and recently in Panther, the lame command + tab application switching reminds us of Proteron's LiteSwitch. Excellent application by the way and free, can't ask for more.

BEN ROSENBERG  Yes, This app rocks! I also do not understand why Safari is based off Konqueror but has 50% of the basic feature set of Konqueror. I use Safari on OSX and Konqueror on Linux.. both are good but I wish Safari had 1/2 the features that Konqueror does.

Thanks to the developer of this util!
