DAVEL  TI Connect version 1.7 does not seem to connect to TI-84 Plus Silver calculators if Mac is running OS 10.5.2.

No problem with version 1.6 and OS 10.4.11 but with upgrade to 10.5 it doesn't work

Am I missing something ?

MAYERJS1  Saw kind of the same thing here. Using 1.6 on OSX 10.5.2, I wasn't able to see the TI-84+SE at all. Upgrading to 1.7, I could see the unit, delete applications off of it, but could not upload anything to it. The TI-84 was using 2.41 of the OS.

After I took the unit down to one of my kids Windows boxes and upgraded the OS to 2.43, I was then able to fully connect with TI-84 from OSX.

THREEDEE912  Tiger has been supported for a while, but it seems like the MacUpdate listing hasn't been updated for a while.

Works fine on my G4 running 10.4.11. transfers data, updates the firmware, etc.

ANONYMOUS  Good to see that there's a Mac version that supports Mac OS X. Bad to see it doesn't support tiger yet!

Crashed my machine though. I ran it from my 10.3 partition.

ANONYMOUS  Here's a great idea. Make the calculator be recognized like a USB Thumb drive. Drag drop done w00t.

ANONYMOUS  I think it would be great it TI could add syncing features so that we could sync the calculator's calendar, contact, and to-do info with Apple's Address Book and Mail. There was some software called TISync that claimed to do this, but it never worked for me and their site has disappeared.

ANONYMOUS  To download the latest version you must click "More Information" and go from there. You'll have to register at the TI site, but it's the only way to get 1.1.

RORY  Same problem here. Also, in the 1.0b14 that downloads there is a problem with typing text into a program. All the text is rectangles, except sometimes weird numbers appear. This is a serious bug.

ANONYMOUS  Couldn't find the 1.1 version either. Though stated it's simply not there. Texas Instruments should give a bit better support to Mac users. It's too little, too late.

ANONYMOUS  I can't seem to find 1.1 . I downloaded all that I was allowed from their site and it's a 1.0 pre-release from november or october 2003.
