CORPSECORPS  Ditto my last comment.

Too pricey and Carbon!

CYBORG9  No trial download, huh? Well, screw that. I tried Eric's Ultimate a couple of years ago but found that the game rules were presented in difficult to read too small type rendered in an antique styled font, also difficult to read....and I'm not gonna pay to find out whether or not that has been improved.

I'll stay with the superbly designed "Solavant". It's got 240(count 'em) solitaire games(no wimpy easy games included, either, and allows one a trial period of 100 games...yes!

CORPSECORPS  $29.95 for a carbon solitaire game for which there's no up-to-date demo or electronic download?

I don't think so!

ERIC SNIDER  Thanks to everyone for the great compliments and feedback. I'm not working on Ultimate Solitaire for OS X any more. I got it basically running native on OS X and handed it off to Delta Tao quite a while ago. Please contact them with any questions, comments, or suggestions. And feel free to beg them to ship it! :-) I would love to see the final version ship for a number of reasons.

For the past few years I've been running my own company, Sniderware. It's focused on developing and publishing games for handheld devices. So... if you're interested please check out our web site http://www.sniderware.com Delta Tao customers can use the coupon code "DTPROMO" to save $3 on Eric Snider's Solitaire for Palm OS.

Thanks,

Eric

ANONYMOUS  Sheeesh!

Seems like this has been in various stages of development since OS X first showed up! Was a favorite before that, but has been pretty flakey ever since.

ANONYMOUS  This version is VERY slow! Why cannot I use previous version to fall back to in case the latest one exhibits problems? I just don't get it!

ANONYMOUS  software expirations are useless and annoying thing. now that the developer is unable to deliver updated versions before expiration dates, this "feature" should be removed already!

two, the warning that appears at the launch of the app - everyone knows this is alpha or beta or whatever. maybe it's time to stop being annoying?

ANONYMOUS  Hey Weasel this is more of a port to OS X rather than an origional game... This game was made a while ago so thats why the graphics aren't that flash, also its just a group of card games...

MHUGHES  I don't agree with the writer Impish.....altho Solitaire Til Dawn is good; yes, I have it too, it cannot hold a candle to Eris's version of Pyramid & especially Forty Thieves. Oh...& don't forget Montana....the best version of anyone elses.

I've been a faithful player of Eric's since my first Mac in 1996 & have other card games but Eric's is all all time favorite.

ASMEURER  Macupdate,

the alpha for this game gets updated on the first of every month. I never receive an email telling me that it is updated when it is.

BARBARA NELSON  I very much enjoy playing your Ultimate

Solitaire game. I somehow lost the preferences for my game, and consequently it won't play for us. (my husband and I)

We both enjoy it and have quite a competition going with how many games we've won in a row, and how low we can go on the timing.

I would like to get either a new copy of the game, or get the part (parts) that are missing from my old game.

We have and iMac with the Mac OSX 10.2.1 system. Do you have an update for that yet? Please let me know. We really would like to play again. Thanks

CRAZY APE  You do know that it's a timed demo, right? If you don't bye the game with your hard earned money, it stops woring after a short time, unless you bye it.

IMPISH  This used to be the "ultimate," but Solitaire Til Dawn X has 60 games, and a prettier interface. Beats Eric's hands down.
